I love when a restaurant asks if you have a reservation and you don't and they look at you like a bother and the place is empty. Â The service was slow but the food was good. Â I say you typicaly get better service when a place is busy. Â I want to like you, the food is good enough to go back but everytime I do, I leave unsatisfied with the horrible and rude service.
Review Source:Oh Luigi, I wanted so badly to like you. Â
A friend and I met here for lunch. Â It had been ages for both of us since our last dining experience here (mine had been so good that I had been looking for an excuse to go back for the elusive, tasty dish I had had)...
Maybe that was my problem: my expectations were too high. Â I love Portillos. Â I thought I would love Luigis again.
Service was ok, but I felt like the waitress was just going thru the motions because we were one of the few people there. Â
I should have taken her suggestion, perhaps, because the dish I ordered just wasn't that good. Â If this was what I had before, I couldn't even tell. Â The magic memory failed when the plate of reality arrived. Â
The mozzarella sticks were not stick shaped but they were my favorite part of the meal, besides the bread. Â Portions are large, so I had leftovers but I didn't even decide to keep them. Â
I have never been to the piano bar and I still think I would like to try it out. Â However, if I was looking just for a dinner out, this is no longer at the top of my list.
