Lynmine International Cuisine

I believe that Lynmine International Cuisine is the only Guyanese restaurant in the Plainfield area. My husband and I are huge fans of their bake and salt-fish. They're huge (about the size of a CD) and they're only $3. We also enjoy the curry goat with dhal puri, the Guyanese style beef patties and sorrel drink. The owner, Keith Semple, is very nice as well as the cook (I don't know her name).

So, if you want good, home style Caribbean food, Lynmine is the place to go. You can eat in or takeout (I have always done takeout). Just make sure you bring cash as they do not take cards. BYOB - there is a liquor store a few doors down so you can stop there to pick up libations to enjoy with your meal.
