Mad River Bar & Grille

I love the buffalo chicken wrap here! The drinks and specials are delicious and let's be honest who wouldn't want to eat inside an old church. The décor is unique and different from any other place. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly.

Looks nice from outside. Food is bad and service was slooow. Hostess looked like she was hungover or simply didn't care/lazy. They (hostess) even refused a table of seven people when they could have accommodated by simply moving one table. Don't go here. It's bad.  We went on July 5. Owner should take a hard look at what is going on there.  Not good. Our
Waitress  was good.  Sorry you got a crumy tip but find another place and you will mop up.

Rude GM. We confirmed with our bartender before ordering that we had a <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Frestaurant.com&s=c5fe485af4df376130bee54f875814d79c4d7913e1258123b1206d2bdbf4873b" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://restaurant.com</a> certificate, she said that was fine. When we went to check out (different bartender) she had to ask the GM and he refused to honor it despite that first bartender said no problem.  He said it had restrictions despite that they were not listed on the certificate (did not count towards drinks). Other <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Frestaurant.com&s=c5fe485af4df376130bee54f875814d79c4d7913e1258123b1206d2bdbf4873b" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://restaurant.com</a> certificates list day or time restrictions or if it does not include alcohol.  Drinks were ok... I've certainly had better and more creative.  We would have gone somewhere else if we knew we couldn't use the certificate. The GM didn't even try to have a civil conversation, I could understand if we hadn't been given the green light at the beginning but to be treated so rude and condescendingly... I'm not a fan. We had gotten food here in the past that was decent, but this experience was a deal breaker... Apologetic mistake is different than being condescending and rude.
