Maki of Japan

Pretty good for fast food chinese food. It is cheap and quick for those looking for a quick meal before or after shopping. It is by far the best out of all the other chinese food places in the mall. Make sure to get the punch card if you visit often. Buy 5 meals get the next one free.

Teriyaki and tempura fast food, with some simple sushi rolls. It was a bit too fast for cook-to-order, but I went at meal time, so it was still fresh, and it hadn't sat around long.  

But, for "food court food" it's better than average.

This place and "Asian Chao", a couple of spots over in the food court, have the same parent company, same web site.   This place tries to be more Japanese, and I think Asian Chao tries to be more Chinese.   I'll have to go back and try AC.  

This food court is near Dick's Sporting Goods.  So if you're going here, park on the North side of the mall between Macy's and Dick's if you want to be near the food court entrance.

Maki is fine for a meal if you're already shopping in the Mall.  But if I were just tooling along 82nd street, looking for a restaurant, I'd choose elsewhere.
