Malone's Ale House sits very nobly on the corner of NW 185th and Walker Road. The building itself is actually quite attractive with its arched entryway. On the left side of the restaurant is a covered outdoor patio for those who like to smoke and/or dine outside.

Malone's Ale House sports an interior that is actually quite large. There are plenty of bars, tables, booths, and pool tables. If you're looking for some intimate conversation then this is not the place for you. Malone's Ale House is loud. Malone's Ale House is a bar where you let yourself go. The crowd is good but I was wishing the guy behind me would learn another word besides the F word.

Each bar and table has a bowl of peanuts. We apologized to our server for making such a mess with our peanuts. She promptly took our peanut shells and threw them on the floor. At Malone's Ale House you are expected to drink, relax, let your troubles go, and throw your peanut shells all over the floor.

Sorry some reviewers had some trouble with the service at Malone's Ale House. Our experience was just the opposite. Our server Jenna was extraordinary. What a personality this gal has! Jenna's timing was perfect and she did such a wonderful job of taking care of us. If you're having trouble getting help at Malone's Ale House then my advice is to ask for Jenna.

The beer selection at Malone's Ale House is humongous. The menu features items like soups, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and wraps. Malone's offers a Chicken Marsala for $9.95 and a New York Steak dinner for $10.95. The prices are fantastic. All of the burgers are below $10 and include fries.

We sampled the "Bacon & Tillamook" burger. It was one of the best seasoned beef patties I have ever had. Tasted like it had just come off of somebody's outdoor charcoal grill. The accompanying fries were also very tasty.

We ended up at Malone's Ale House after being ignored down the street at Maxwell's. So glad we did! Peanuts, Jenna, and a tasty hamburger all came together to make an extraordinary evening!

I had lots of fun both times I've been here. The first time was a Saturday night and it was pretty loud and busy, but thats how a bar should be. We sat in a booth and had a constant supply of beer and food. The last time I was there was a Sunday night. I only seen one bar tender who definitely did his part in making sure we had everything we needed.   We also didn't have a problem going to the bar to get our own drinks. I'm not sure why the other reviewers had such a hard time with that?!

Well it's a 'peanut shells on the ground' pub, but it's not a bad one at that. It's a hop, skip and jump away from our house so that's a plus.

There's good local beer on tap & pitchers are still a good deal. Service is prompt, and they even check on you at the tables which seems a-typical for bars in this area - or anywhere.

Music can get kind of loud (I know, I am old) but it's fun in DJ nights. It's a bit quieter in the side area that seems a jumble of tables & booths with no set purpose other than being an extension of the main bar.
