Had an assistant manager come unglued and scream across the bar to quit complaining about no volume on the FB game on the TV... Along with, pay you bill and leave. This type of despicable customer service seems to be condoned by management. Obviously, no one in this business has watch a show like Restauanr Stakeout where they strive to make the customer king.
Review Source:I have eaten here many times. Â The food is ok. Â Of course the beer is good, but there is a lot better microbeer out there now. The service is slow. Â I went out back to smoke a cigarette and saw a few of the mcmenamins employees smoking marijuana out back in the parking lot. Â I wasnt sure thats what they were doing at first, but I could smell the marijuana in the air, and when the employees passed me to come in the back door I could smell it. Â Would you want someone on weed cooking or preparing your food? Â I guess mcmenamins doesn't drug test and that is what attracts the pot head employees? Â It didn't bother me and I kept on coming in for lunch. Â Then one day when I sat at the bar for a quick burger for lunch, it took forever and when it arrived the patty was literally bloody. Â I mentioned it to the blond cook behind the bar. Â When I told her, I swear her eyes were bloodshot and she looked stoned. Â This is the last time I eat at this mcmenamins. Â I am not going to risk eating there and getting sick.
Review Source:We've been here many times and generally the experience rates about three stars. But today we stopped in for lunch, and waited and waited just to get menus while the servers darted around from table to table, somehow always bypassing ours. They were moderately busy, We finally got menus, but no offer to take a drink order...So we waited and waited some more. When the server showed up at the table next to us to drop of drinks, we thought "woo hoo, I bet he's going to take our order now." Nope. He turned and walked back the opposite direction. So we gave it a couple more minutes and pulled the plug. I waved at the waiter on our way out. He waved back. I think he had no idea we were leaving because he didn't bother to serve us.
