My wife actually suggested coming back here and I was more than happy to oblige.
With that, we were here a month ago and I'm happy to report that we had another good visit. Tyler was our server again so we couldn't go wrong and he (nor the food) did not disappoint.
Looking forward to going back again!
I LOVE The Rock. I used to go all the time to the one in Wood Village. So how convenient that when I move to this side of town, I am right next to The Rock again!
That being said, the few times that I have visited this location, I have had HORRID service. Every. Single. Time. I've been there when it is busy, and I've been there when it is slow. Doesn't seem to matter. I've had different servers every time, and each one provided less-than-adequate service. At one visit, there was one point where we went an HOUR without seeing our server again to check on us - my friend even RAISED HER HAND for several minutes, to no avail. Guess we didn't need another drink after all! On another visit, our server asked for our ID's, and then walked away as we were pulling them out. Um, what?
Saving grace is the drinks and the food, which I already knew that I loved. So I will keep going back for buckets, but I will not expect anything from the service.
Went in for Happy Hour with some friends. Â Not bad. Â Really a 3 1/2 star kind of place, but the service was good tonight so I'm giving them 4. Â
The wings are NOT great. Â On the HH menu, but eh. Â Soggy. Â Flavor is just ok. Â Beer selection is somewhat limited... Â I wanted a dark beer.. stout or porter. Â They had nothing close. Â that was a bummer. Chicken quesadilla was ok. Â The reddish/pink tortilla is a bit off-putting. Â But it tasted decent. Â
Really, the high point was our waiter. Â I wish I remembered his name. Â Attentive but gave us room to visit. Â Kept us in drinks without being pushy or assumptive. Â Cleared our food when it was obvious we were done- no plate grabs.
I will probably come back again, maybe one day I will try the pizza.
