these statements are false and the features are non existent. typical sushi strip mall sushi. typical bait and switch. what a bunch of idiots. we went there with reservations from the website. waitress said we dont have those features. called back while we were driving to hall street grill, which was excellent ' http://www.yelp.com/biz/… ' person who answered phone didn't know what the website said and questioned if we went to the correct website. she said the website was ' http://shogunpdx.com/ ' . after i said that was the website i made reservations on, she said ' crap ' obviously i was the first person to call them out on false advertising.

what the *uck! thank goodness we were able to find a EXCELLENT alternative ' http://www.yelp.com/biz/… '.

This is a newly opened sushi restaurant near my place. I would say its raw fish is having good quality. I tasted several nigiri, something I order in every sushi place I visited. It is above average. Fish and rice ratio is good. Rice also gives good note and balances well with fish meat. Broiled saba is also nice. Rolls are kind of average level.

I came here on Sunday for a coworker lunch adventure! He was craving ramen, so I had to abide like a good dude does. We were a little disappointed about the lack of lunch special on Sundays, but we had work discounts to make up for it. Both of our entrees came with standard fare salad and miso soup, which were both refreshing.

He ordered a salmon handroll, which was stuff full of salmon. It was practically an seaweed ice cream cone stuffed with salmon and a little rice. I was salmon with envy (get it?). He didn't enjoy the shoyu ramen as much, noting the broth was lacking and his poor hard boiled egg was cook a little too long.

My glorious meal was the spicy chirashi (see photo), which probably contained all of the fish they had at hand on a bed of crunchy lettuce. A bowl of rice, Kochujang, and sesame oil was offered on the side for maximum customization. The fish was very fresh, making lunch feel like heaven for 7 minutes. And I didn't even have to be in a closet!

I would say definitely come here for the fish, but pass on the ramen (based on my coworker's opinion). It's a touch expensive, but the quality of the fish will not disappoint.
