Manny's at Midway

I stopped here for a quick bite while I was waiting for a connecting flight to Cleveland.

First off the people who work here hate their jobs and walked by me at least 3 times before someone went out of their way to take my order. The girl cutting the meat looked to be in so much pain that she should have been sent home because she couldn't even do her job.

I was by the order here sign that is sticking out at the left side of the counter looking at these people like it was a fish tank or something. Manny's was good once I got my sandwich made.

Time to make my corned beef with swiss sandwich goes like this....

Wait Time waiting to order was about 4 minutes

Wait Time ordering sandwich was about 2 minutes

Finally making my sandwich took 3-4 minutes

The people behind the counters were more interested in talking to each other than to take my order.

Note the sign says manny's EXPRESS!!! Will never stop here again for a sandwich when I can go can next door to get one made in about 2 minutes on either side of this place!

I am completely dependent on Yelp when scouring airports for a quick bite.  I'm rarely let down but this was one of those times.  The ppl that work here are some of the rudest I've ever met.  They clearly have zero desire to serve customers or working in general.  And thank you for half-assedly cutting my sandwich so that I had to forcefully pull it apart as I learned that corned beef is not the most tearable meat.  Not even close.  Have lots of napkins on hand, at least 5x more than you normally would.

Manny's is tops on my list during a layover at Midway.  The corn beef sandwich was so good full of flavor and juicy!  I would've scarfed it down even if I wasn't starving like marvin.  The regular 5 oz was filling; however, if you enjoy a challenge then pay the extra $2 for an additional 2 oz of meat.  The service and price was friendly even for an airport fast food restaurant.
