I have to say with a name like "Margarita US 31 Mexican Restaurant" I had very low expectations of what they would offer. Â It has a generic location (strip mall) and a generic name. Â I was impressed with the service, the food and the margaritas which were $5 on Cinco de Mayo. Â
It might be generic on the outside, but has some flair after all. Â Check them out.
I have very few requirements for Mexican restaurants (the non-authentic kind), and this one met all of them. Â Fresh-made salsa, good margaritas, and tasty food. Â I ordered the quesadilla roja with beef and a large margarita. Â (The margarita was on special that night.) Â The service was fast and reliable. Â The decor is bright and fun. Â All in all, a good dining experience.
Review Source:Ate here last night. We have eaten at Margaritas with some sequence since they opened and have been reasonably happy. HOWEVER, last night the service was the worst we have ever had. It took 35 minutes from the time we ordered and then we only received our meals after we asked another waiter to check for us. Our waiter had never come back to check on us and had evidently not been back to the kitchen. The food came out cold because it had been sitting for some time. And, one meal was wrong. The manager was not willing to make things right and excused the waiter by saying he was new. Bad service all around and not handled well by the manager. Needless to sat we will not be going back. The are other choices in Greenwood.
