My family comes to this local Italian restaurant at least once per month. Â What we love about it (besides the food) are the friendly owners and staff and the wonderfully bland interior. Â Maria's doesn't try to fool you with smoke and mirrors. Â What you get is a generous portion of pretty decent Italian food. Â I even forgive them for the lame dinner salad.
Review Source:I gave a strong review about Maria's  about a year ago.  Sadly,  I must edit my post.  I ordered a pizza recently and it was inedible.  After I brought it home, it had a layer of water on the pizza and was not even half cooked.  Also, I have heard stories about this place and none too good.  What happened???
Review Source:I've recently had the opportunity to have dinner at Maria's since they apparently changed owners. Their motto is something like "the best kept secret in town". If you have not been to Maria's, the entrance is is from the parking lot in the rear of 381 Park Street. It is certainly worth finding. In addition to the traditional Italian dishes, daily specials include delicious home made specialty raviolis (lobster and pumpkin stuffed to name a couple) as well as meat and fish entres. The food at Maria's is as good as many much pricier restaurants I've tried. Good pizza is also available in the dining room or for take out. Now that the secret is out, Maria's is definitely worth finding. BYOB, inexpensive and credit cards accepted.
