Mark's Duck House is Authentic Chinese food. Â May is the Best server her customer service is on point. Â Her suggestions are always helpful and true to taste/description. Â My fav's are the Hunan crispy whole talapia w/ginger soy sauce (caught fresh in the tank), sauteed Chinese watercress and the deep fried whole crispy prawns (delish). Â Our new found family Chinese restaurant.
Review Source:Mark's Duck House is pretty good food, probably one of the best places around here for dim sum, but it's expensive enough that I won't be coming back for a long time. Some dim sum, 2 menu items: noodles and chicken, and $2.25 tea = nearly $70.00 lunch for 3 people.
Best advice is always check the price before ordering off the cart. Â We didn't realize the saucer of baby pig is $15, that's what did us in.
Their Peking duck is gooood.
We went to Mark's dim sum on a Sunday morning. They open at 10:00 and we arrived around 10:05. We waited and waited, and finally, around 10:20, food starts coming out (know that prior to this there were about 6 workers standing around doing nothing, right next to a steaming full cart).
When they first come around, we get 2 items from a cart. Both items are cold. A worker took a plate back and microwaved it, meaning it probably wasn't even fresh in the first place.
The meal was okay after that, but due to the waiting and cold food, it gets 2/5 stars from me.
