This was a great experience for my first time eating at an ethiopian restaraunt. Â I had the Enat Kitfo And Ye Chikina Tibbs and both were great. Â The Ye Chikina Tibbs was especially spicy but not to the point where I couldn't eat it. Â I also made the newbie mistake of asking for a fork because they serve the food on a spongy bread that is used to pick up the food and eat it. Â
I would definitely recommend either sharing, getting a combination, or a meat dish and a vegetarian dish.
Holy delicious.
I have been cowardly avoiding Ethiopian food for a long time and my fiance finally convinced me to go. Best decision ever.
Since I've given up meat for Lent, this is probably the most delicious food I've had (also due to the fact that I have no idea how to cook vegetarian). We ordered the vegetarian sampler and it is sooooo mouthwateringly good! I wish there was some sign superimposed on each little dish so we knew the names of the ones we loved but overall, I liked almost every one of them.
I'm sad to say we won't be in the NOVA area for a while so my deepest fear is that I've tried the best Ethiopian place ever and now no other place will be able to compare.
This place is so yummy. Just go.
