They were the farthest thing from accommodating to our family with two young children. Hostess was extremely rude.
We went early on a Saturday and asked for a table instead of a booth. The hostess seemed put out and said they didn't have any tables available - it was 440pm and the restaurant is huge. Â There were no customers around but us and there were three restaurant staff standing with the hostess. Â None seemed willing to help us find a comfortable spot - even a booth with more space for our small carseat would have worked. Â We ended up leaving and my husband kept looking back anticipating that they would come out and encourage us to stay and find a spot. Â They didn't. Â We felt very unwelcome and it's a shame because we live nearby and definitely won't go back.
We've gone there in the past and had dinner as a couple at the bar and it was fine. Â But this locale seems to cater to seniors and clearly not young families.
1 star, simply for the cute little pond found at the entrance. Â My partner and I dined here on Sunday for brunch. Â The service was slow but friendly. Â It took ten minutes to get our drinks, lemonade and a very cold cappuccino, and when our meal arrived, not only was the plate horrible to look at, it actually smelled like garbage. Â I ordered the Creole breakfast, the grits were uncooked and the shredded cheese just sat on top of this grainy mass as if refusing to blend in, the filet was chopped into two pieces and the eggs looked like they were powdered. Â Needless to say, the food was TERRIBLE. Â My partners MC Platter meal did not smell, but it was less than average.
Review Source:I have only visited this resting during happy hours but every time ive gone there I was very please with the service and very happy with the food. The Pricing for the food is amazing 6-8 dollars for 1lb of wings or a burger or crabcake sandwich. The beer prices are pricey during the happy hour, however i believe on Wednesday they have a 12 dollar wine night which I didnt go to but thats bang for the buck !
