Yeah, yeah yeah... "New York Style Pizza!" "New York Style Pizza!" It says that everywhere you look. I'm from New York, so I know. I've gotta say; that's New York Style Pizza! It's the next best thing to being back at home (it's shockingly better than many establishments back home). The smell, the taste and the feel take me back to my childhood. You start with the basic plain slice. You pick it up. The classic New York slice will crack down the middle and cause a thin layer of grease to run down your hand. The molten cheese is at an exact 50% ratio to the sauce. It all checks out! And they get extra points for having Sicilian slices as well.
Review Source:A buddy of mine introduced me to this place and I have to tell you that it really is a great diamond in the rough! Â These are exactly the kinds of places I look for... Â Huge slices of pizza sold by the slice, friendly staff, fountain sodas, & it won't break the bank. Â Basically, what a pizza place should be. Â The dining room is small, but sufficient with some classic Sinatra tunes playing in the back ground. Â There's also a patio where you can do some great car watching if you are into that sort of thing (I am). Â On this visit, I tried a slice of the BBQ Chicken & the Buffalo chicken, both of which were awesome (even though I couldn't finish it all). Â The Calzones & Stromboli looked amazing too, but those I'll have to try on another day.
To sum up, the food was fan-freakin-tastic & the people were nice! Â Next time I'm jonesin' for a slice, you can bet that I'll be back.
Had some at work for a function and it was delish! Decided to try it on my own, one slice will fill you up... and it should for almost $5 a slice! I wanted just a pepporoni slice, but they had everything but that it seemed when I went. It was still good, greasy and big. Definitely not an everyday thing to eat.
