Very good sports bar. Wait staff is super friendly and makes a point of introducing themselves and trying to remember your name.
I go here for Patriots games most Sundays. They have $6 24 oz beer cans. I tend to order wings, which are well cooked (I like them crispy). The hot sauce, however, is an odd mustard based blend.
The rest of the food is passable. Â If the food was spectacular, this would be five stars. But hey, it's a sports bar.
The TVs have signs on them showing what games will be on. It's easy to find a spot and claim your area.
The patrons are friendly.
Plenty of parking. Also a 2 block walk to the Shirlington bus stop, which is a hub.
I've been coming here for years with my friends and we always have a great time, whether we are there for dinner or just drink at the bar. Bungalow is a great a neighborhood bar and has the best crowd in Shirlington. Â They also always have great drink specials and the bar staff will remember your name.
For food, I always go with the appetizers or burgers. The wings and spring rolls are the best!
I love bungalow. I've had superb service from a brunette waitress with tattoos. She was charismatic, personable, and all around pleasure to be with. The issue I have with this establishment is their management. Â I've physically seen management be rude to the waitstaff. In my opinion that behavior is unacceptable. It makes me uncomfortable to be a patron of a bar that treats their employees poorly. Hopefully if I come in again I will see an improvement in the behavior of the management. I was here September 26th.
