McAlister's Deli

Trendy-ish deli sandwiches served by very nice and helpful people. You walk up and order at the counter and someone brings your order to your table. My roast beef was prepared exactly as I ordered it. Overall, it was kind of uninspiring but I've had worse, much worse. The cole slaw was really mediocre. Not bad, just very, very bland and kind of watery.

Would I go back? I doubt it. It's kind of a big "meh" but, if you want something decent, better than subway, try McAlister's because it is, better than subway (by a longshot).

This wait is ridiculous for an order already called in!! And they got it wrong? (ugh.) I miss the Shadier side of the river's McAlister's, they always treated us well. :-/

I like McAlister's. It's just what you expect of a deli. Good soups and sandwiches. It is consistently good with low-fat options too! The service is pretty fast and friendly. The tortilla soup is where it's at.
