McNamara's

Every time I am pleased with the ambiance and food.  It's great for hanging out, drinks, meetings, family gatherings, and even dates.

My mom purchased a $25 gift certificate through <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Frestaurant.com&s=c5fe485af4df376130bee54f875814d79c4d7913e1258123b1206d2bdbf4873b" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://restaurant.com</a> for Mcnamara's so that was our initiative to give this place a try. We walked past the bar and were seated in the dining room. Our timid but friendly waiter brought us freshly baked, still warm soda bread that was delish. The menu was quite extensive with some very interesting options. I was boring and got the cheeseburger which was actually pretty good and my mom got the peach covered pork chop, yum! For dessert we decided on the banana split cheesecake, it was different but quite delicious. I think we will have to come back to try some of the other intriguing dishes and desserts.

New to Chicago and was invited to this local establishment in my neighborhood. At first you're thrown off when you enter through the front and into the bar. I had to ask about he restaurant seating which is located directly behind the bars' wall, and this because there's only one entrance. Once you've settled in the service was good and the prices reasonable and lunch specials available. Great place to sit for a bit and enjoy the comfortable setting.
