The Mill Restaurant & Lounge

We recently had an event here for just over 20 guests. There were no surprises, everything was just like we expected from our conversations with the staff beforehand.

They were very accommodating to our special requests. The wrote down and took a note of everything we wanted, and they did everything we wanted.

I think every one of our guests enjoyed their food and we had some pretty picky eaters; I suppose part of their contentedness was due to our ability to choose dishes that suited them.

The dining room ambiance is a little lacking but for us the food made up for it.

The Mill has quite a few options to please just about any palate - from your typical comfort food, to Italian-American, and even smokehouse entrees.  I have yet to try something I didn't love here.  I'm partial to the Farfalle con Pollo...it's the kind of dish that is so good, you can't stop eating it - even long after you're full.  My husband enjoys the smoked salmon and the baked penne, and I've heard great things about the smokehouse lasagna as well.  You really can't go wrong.  The atmosphere is relaxed, with dark woods and exposed brick, and they often have live music in the evenings.  There's also a deck to enjoy some outdoor dining during the warmer months (which I love!).  The service is excellent and always friendly...you really can't go wrong.  I just wish it was closer!!

Will NEVER go back! Service was horrible and food was gross. Ordered a chicken parm sandwich and a meatloaf sandwich...yuck...go to finders/keepers next door and get them...delicious and cheaper. The meatloaf was more like a McDonalds patty with salty "mill's BBQ sauce" on it. Our waitress was horrible, we could barely hear her and she was not attentive at all. She brought us refills on water and soda, without asking, when i was really hoping to get an alcoholic beverage. We were seated next to the kitchen and it was clear the staff were more concerned about gossiping than their customers. Even the owner joined in on the gossip at the hostess station and completely ignored us as we left. $20.73, should have just ordered some pizzas.
