Milo's is great! The food and service has always been great. We love the trivia and bingo nights.

Not really my first choice for going out but it's good for certain situations.  A few friends and I have been going to Milo's to watch the pay-per-view UFC fights and it's a pretty good experience.  They put the fights on all the TVs and turn the sound on too.  Granted it's often times too loud to hear the sound but it's nice to get some sound.

We asked the server how the wings were and she told us they were "bomb".  I think she was talking about the bomb of grease that it puts in your stomach but I guess that's part of eating wings right?  The beer selection is sub par but they do have a few CO craft options.  Not a place to go if you're looking for anything besides the norms beer wise.

Overall it's a good dive bar with good dive bar food.  The servers are fun and make the experience interesting.

Went here the other day and the owner was very rude to me, albeit that he was being kind to what seemed to be regulars he was very dismissive of myself and the service was terrible. On top of that the place was dirty and the food was subpar. The only thing that was even slightly enjoyable was the beer and that being only because they don't make it themselves. My suggestion is you go somewhere else and don't waste your time here.

This is a nice bar I tend to write off, and I'm not sure why. They have a nice selection of draft beers, good bar food, and really nice staff. The patio is nice as well, it's really roomy & it's enclosed in the winter so it's warm.  The juke box is totally fun & has every band under the sun. I need to remember Milo's!

Had a great cheap taco nite at Milo's $1.25 chicken of beef, and the beef is like 1/4 pound. Decent corn tortillas, good beef and pico for that price????? you cant beat it. Plus bets tater-tots in the world. Also they set aside a TV on MNF for a Yankees fan to watch BBall!!!!!!! Yay Milo's!!!!!!

We ended up here after a really bad experience with the Continental down the street. We just wanted to watch some football and drink some beer. Great sports bar! Staff is friendly and service is fast. Food is good. Drinks are cheap. They have a TON of TV's so you are sure to have your game on at least 3 of them. A great place to watch football. I've found my spot for this season! They also have other events throughout the week. Free buffet on Fridays (when you buy 2 drinks). We assumed it was 2 drinks per person but it's per table which is great. They also do trivia, bingo and poker. On Sundays they have a bloody mary bar. The place gets full but not packed. I highly recommend Milo's if you're a sports fan and live in the area.

One question and then I am done with this place ...

how is a buffet free if you have to BUY 2 DRINKS?

This is my favorite dive bar in Denver.  The wait staff is friendly and the beer is cold.  The wings are good too.  I'm told they have a really good bloody mary bar...but have yet to try that.

One star off because the music gets a little louder than I care for at times.

    Just a quick update:

Laurie (the waitress) is one of the main reason I keep coming back here. Not only is she cute, nice, and respectful, but she makes sure you are having a good time, EVERY TIME.

Without the core group of Milo's folks that are always delivering outstanding service, it would be a very different place.

I am glad to see other's are enjoying Milos and understanding what it is about: Good People, Good Food, Cheap (but good) drinks, and good times. When I move further south this summer, it will still be a main stop for me. It's the only place I've ever been where EVERYBODY is fucking awesome. If you are a complainer about how your beer was poured (like I heard recently) go to suite 200 or some other Jersey Shore douche bag bar.

    Long Live Milos! (And Laurie!!!)

A pleasant surprise.  We came for the poker and found the place to be packed with friendly people from across economic and generational lines.  The music was a bit loud but not obnoxious.  The tables are clean and the parking is well lit.  Service was fast and friendly.  We met a retired lady who was there by herself playing poker, this is a great place for someone like her as it is safe, clean, friendly and she gets to mingle with younger people without feeling uncomfortable.  We're adding Milo's to our list of hangouts.

Good specials for the game yesterday. Opted for the bloody Mary bar which had lots of interesting toppings to make it to your liking. Our server, Kim, was awesome.
The only problem we had was the jersey trash New York Giants fans who were offensive and crude. Three tables around us threatened to leave because of them and management seemed like they didn't want to do anything about it. We get that it's a sports bar and people yell at the tv but they took it to the next level and were being offensive toward me and my fellow 49ers fans and friends. A little friendly competition is fun but it was like a filming of jersey shore. Bleckkk

I really enjoy this place. I was able to catch the live music offered on Fridays when I went on December 30th to catch the Lesnar vs Overeem fight. It was awesome!

Their wings were on point, once again, and their chips with the three dips was delicious. Hell, I damn near killed myself on steam alone when I put a big wallop of queso on my chip not realizing there were big chunks of jalapeno in it.

The bathrooms aren't great but what do you expect from a borderline seedy establishment?  I mean, they focus on what's important and a clean bathroom for drunks and the high just isn't it. ha!

Now if I could just become much more friendly with the clientele, I'd have so much more to blog about. ;)

I go to Milo's for their Geeks Who Drink trivia on Wednesday nights.  The staff is friendly and great at remembering who you are each week.  The reason it only gets three stars is because I just can't find anything I love on the menu.  Don't get me wrong, the food is good, but there isn't anything that is spectacular.  It is a dive bar but there just isn't anything that I crave from there.  They used to have a fish sandwich that my husband and I always ordered, but they got rid of it :(  I will say their tater tots are yummy.  I have tried their mac and cheese with chicken and mushrooms, and it was good but super rich and a little soupy.  Their slidders are good and so is their cobb salad, but again nothing spectacular.  It is a great weeknight place to hang out and again, awesome staff.

I love this place. It has awesome service, a great laid back environment, good food, and reasonable prices. Not to mention the BEST bloody mary bar on Sunday.

If you in the neighborhood you should DEFINITELY stop in! It will not disappoint!

The only reason it does not get 5 stars is because the bathrooms are in serious need of remodeling, and always skink highly of that industrial air freshener (better than the alternative I suppose lol). And they do keep them clean.

It's a good neighborhood sports bar, and sometimes that's all you need.  Food is actually better than you'd think and very reasonably priced, in contrast to a lot of similar places where you pay way too much for food you could heat up from your freezer.  Beer selection isn't huge but they do have a few microbrews on tap, which gets the job done when you don't want watered down mass-produced beer (and I'm a microbrew guy, so there).  There are plenty of TVs and the staff is friendly.  Parking isn't too easy when it gets busy, but you can usually make it work in the lot they share with the strip mall across the way.  There are specials or events of some kind or other every day, and happy hour from 3-7 pm.  Sounds like a decent enough place to spend an evening, right?

I had a good time here re-living some old habits.  After spending some time down town, we headed here because they were showing the UFC fights and it is on the way home to where my girlfriend now lives.  The place was crowded and we were able to enjoy cheap beer and greasy food, something I don't often do anymore.  The nachos were gross in good way and the fried mushrooms were awesome.  From what I remember, the pizza wasn't that bad either.  Sometimes atmosphere and nostalgia can do it for me, and even though it was my first time at this joint, I had a blast.

It's always beer 30 somewhere.  And definitely here.  Happy Hour buffet (do it yourself nachos).  I had a smothered relleno filled burrito instead with shredded pork.  With the Rapture coming tomorrow (May 21) I may as well do it up right?!  haha

Staff (Heather) incredibly attentive.  This may become a fave!

I've been searching for good Buffalo Wings since I moved to Denver in 2010 and this place is it!  Big, juicy wings fried naked or battered.  Good selection of sauces for the wings other than just "hot".  No black bones or Sysco frozen nonsense wings like almost everywhere else.

Overall, this place has won my business for good, meaty, quality wings and cold beer.

Milo's isn't always the first place that comes to mind when I'm heading out... but it probably should start being closer to the top.

Every night has something different going on... karaoke, dollar tacos, cheap wings (some of the best damn wings in town), build your own bloody marys...

The food really is stellar... the girls always take good care of me... it really is a great local bar.

While Milo's has a great event calendar - weekly trivia nights, karaoke, live music, etc. - pretty good food and reasonable drink prices, they get several stars knocked off for the terrible service. I was actually surprised by the good reviews given here on Yelp - then I realized, those reviews were all given by guys.

Because this bar is the only non-dive close to my house, I've been here many times. Out of the ten times I've been there, the female waitresses have been completely rude and unhelpful. It's great that they have a patio, but if you're a woman, don't expect to get served out there. *Three* times in the past six months I've been there and sat on the patio with other female friends, we've been ignored as if we were invisible while the waitress came back no less than three times to serve, chat and flirt with the various tables full of men who were out there. When we do finally flag them down for service (usually after having visited the bartender ourselves), the waitresses act as if it's the hugest inconvenience and make US feel like jerks. How disgraceful.

The service inside isn't much better. Again, the females waitresses just couldn't care less to wait on other ladies - what is that all about? I'm an excellent tipper, but the Milo's female staff would never know it because not ONCE has a female waitress made me feel welcome. It's really a shame because Milo's seems to have so much else going on for it, like the all-day outdoor live music event they hold every summer which looks like a ton of fun. I really hope they start holding their wait staff to a higher standard :(

There's still karaoke here on Thursdays, but it's with a different and better karaoke company.  The sound has improved 100%.   They also have $1.00 tacos and $1.50 beer and wells.

The tacos were really tasty.  I ordered 3 beef.  It came with a generous layer of tomatoes and lettuce and a small container of salsa.  You could tell the taco shells were made in-house.  They tasted fresh and were very crispy.

I got thoroughly bombed with gin and lemonades and my tummy stuffed with tacos for a whopping $7.00.  Now that's the kind of stimulus I'm talking about.

This place is right down the street from my house and I went there for the first time this weekend to watch some NFL and was impressed...it's a very comfortable bar...the staff was over the top friendly and service was great.  The menu is pretty interesting as well...I ended up getting wings, which were good...very large.  They also have a build your own mac and cheese item, which is brilliant...I will try that next time.  All in all, this place is everything I am looking for in a sports bar to watch football.  I'll probably check it out on a non-football night also.

Milo's has the best wings I have ever tasted.  The sauces are delicious, the wings are huge, and the quality is always consistent.  I have tried a few other menu options and all have been great.

Milo's definitely has a bar atmosphere, so keep that in mind before you visit.  The service can be questionable at times, but that is true for most establishments.

Stopped at Milo's for lunch as we were passing through town and couldn't be happier.

Now, our group had guys from both Texas and NY... and we all agreed that the wings (B&G sauce) were among the best we have ever had. The wings themselves were enormous and had the perfect level of crunchiness. And then there's that B&G sauce! 10 is plenty for one person, and at $8.50 they are well worth the price.

The service was tremendous as well, and our server deserved (and received) a large tip.

As a bar, Milo's looks like a fun local dive. If we're in the area, we'll be coming back for the wings and service, you can be sure!

Milo's is just your average sports bar, with your average burgers and beer. Each day of the week they have different specials, but the only ones I can vouch for are Sunday. They have a nice Sunday Funday Build it yourself bloody mary bar and it doubles as Service Industry Night.

There's just enough tvs to watch almost every game that's on and they usually have sound for the big ones. Try the Meatloaf with bacon sandwich is pretty darn tasty and a nice change from the usual burgers or wings.

This bar/restaurant is seriously average all around. However, it gets 4 stars for Abby. She was one of the best servers I've had in a long time and had zero problem handling our big rowdy group! We will be back next football season for sure!

Nothing quite says Class like drinking Long Island Ice Teas at Milo's on a Sunday evening.

It's just your regular bar....decent prices, fatty (but tasty) bar food and on the regular kind of a shady clientele.

It's fun for a guys night that is.

PS - Long Island Ice Teas are not what I usually drink on a guys night, they just sounded really good after a pitcher of beer and 2 jamison shots.

A friend drug me out of the house for football games (I say games because definitely wasn't JUST for the Broncos game; GO PACK!) yesterday and this was his place of choice for the afternoon.

And twas a good choice indeed!

Milo's is another local place in Denver that if I hadn't been introduced to, I'd have kept on driving.  Nondescript facade, but great, welcoming, and hometown bar feeling inside.  Tons of TVs so your game will be on one of them if you ask for it.  The beer was delicious and cold; didn't get a chance to try the food, but the menu looked tasty.  Also, there was a rather large "make-your-own-bloody-mary" bar.  Pretty cool!

Granted I was here during a football Sunday, there appears to be tons of events and specials going on throughout the week, such as ladies night, karaoke, and the like.

Cool little corner bar.  I'm looking forward to returning in the future.  Just hope there aren't as many Vikings fans here next time!  I keed I keed; the Vikes fans were quite well behaved, for Vikes fans.

Love this place way better than Dirks.
My girl Heather lives right around the corner from here, and since a few weeks ago i had my first Sunday off since 1987, we had a little sunday funday drunkday.  We first hit up yiayia's for brunch buffet (DUMB/EXPENSIVE MOVE....although I did drink my weight in bottomless mimosas, which kind of made up for it.  More on that later).  After that, we headed down to good ole milos where I have had my fair share of fun times to watch the broncos vs. raiders (Got our fair share of dirty looks for rooting for the raiders.  But were both California girls)   Gotta love their discount for those in the service industry on Sundays.  Very appreciated.  Our server was adorable and sweet even when I bragged to her about having sunday off.  Couldnt wait to try their bloody mary bar.  They had everything I could have possibly wanted for a good bloody mary.  Since I was already pretty schnockered, I put a little bit of everything in my glass.  And they actually turned out quite good (Could have been the fact that I was already pretty drunk though)!  Tried their special infused vodka.....awesome.  After 5 delicious, packed to the brim with goodies bloody marys, I almost fell asleep on their really comfortable (but probably disease infested) black leather couches on the heated patio.  Boyfriend had to come pick me up.  Haha.
I wish I could give you or myself the recipe to repeat my fab bloody marys but I dont remember.  And you might be like "wtf, this sucks!" but its the thought that counts

Milo's is a great place to go watch a game.  They have over 20 High-def TVs and they have all the sports packages.  However, the service can be unpredictable.  The first time we went, we sat at a table for 5 minutes before the server acknowledged us.

The food is always good.  They have very good tasting wings that are bigger than most.  The wings are regularly .75 each but on Saturdays they're .50 each.  They always come breaded, but you can ask for them as "undressed" which gives them a crispier texture.  The menu does have a couple of questionable items such as the "PB MAX BURGER".  Peanut butter and bacon on a burger?  I'll have to pass.

I really like the overall layout of Milo's.  Plenty of seating and a spacious covered patio.  No pool tables though...

Also needed to add that Milos has every DirecTv supported Sports Package -- so you can always see the game you want to see at Milos -- very handy when you're from New England like me and you want to watch the Red Sox and Patriots and stuff -- and you want to watch hockey games but SO FEW bars in the area carry many hockey games or any hockey packages at all.

My first visit to Milo's included a delicious burger with a side cup of chili that was fantastic!  For desert, we played the Wednesday night trivia, and had a total blast.  If it was closer to home, no doubt that Milo's would be getting the fifth star bump!

Ahh...Milo's.  I remember being one of the first customers at this bar when it opened. We lived about 3 blocks away on S.Kearney St. and would trek over here through the snow, sun, and other freakish Denver weather on a regular basis for many different things.  One was the dollar shots of some fruity concoction we never bothered to question.  Another was the fact that every night there would be a ridiculous drinking special that was too good to be true.  2.50 for 24oz Miller Lite?  Sign me up.  4.00 for a pitcher of bud?  Let's get it goin.  The best part of Milo's though, for me and my roommate at the time, were the wings.  Most places have hot wings and they are good especially after a few pints. But the chef would ask us how hot we wanted it and every time, we would go hotter until one day he we couldn't take it.  Tears streaming down my face, sweat dripping from my brow, I had to set a meaty drumette down half eaten.  I had never done that before and I have not done that since.   I can't wait to return there when I visit.
