The 3rd star is for the most  INCREDIBLE  AWESOME  HAPPY  FRIENDLY  ATTENTIVE  GRACIOUS  QUIRKY  OFFBEAT  SINCERE  AUTHENTIC  staff
in the whole of the Park City area. Â
The food ?   Probably mediocre at best  but I don't really care. I came in here several times over the course of the winter , and felt more welcome here than any other place in Park City. Just like Cliff and Norm.
But, as an Irish Pub it leaves a lot to be desired. Better menu , better beer, more irishness. Is that a word ? Â But then, I frequent Irish Pubs in Minneapolis/St Paul, home of the drunken Irishmen according to Jesse Ventura.
The location is primo, and parking is a breeze. And St Patricks Day was fun with the bagpipe players. The corned beef  dinner was wonderful, but that kind of dinner is hard to screw up.
I do think it is a little overpriced for what it is. I think the cooking is good, just need a better menu and better quality ingredients. Maybe better recipes. ??? Â You can only work with what you got.
I never stayed late enough on Saturday nites to see the dueling pianos, but they seemed to pack em in. Too bad I had to get up so early Sunday mornings to work !
WHERE EVERYONE KNOWS YOUR NAME .............
While the ladies were shopping, my friend and I went to go have a couple beers. It was just before noon when we entered on a snowy day so the bar was completely empty. The bartender was extremely friendly and even shared some specialty deep friend breaded pickles with us. Â
They have a good beer selection and it seems like a cool apres ski place to hang out, especially when you are waiting for any outlet shoppers.
We just happened on this pub by accident and we were delighted! Nothing fancy, but it's a nice space. We were greeted right away by a friendly fellow and given a nice, concise menu. They have salads and burger's along with some standard pub fare such as, fish and chips, bangers and mash, and my recommendation--Bangers and Mac. This twist on Mac and cheese is delicious! A lager cheese sauce that is not too thick, pasta cooked perfectly with sliced sausage topped with crispy bacon pieces. What's not to love?
I can't comment on their beer as I don't drink, but the service was on point and I would go back. I would have given it 5 stars if it had Coke instead of Pepsi! :-)
