It really should be a 1 star...Really! This place is horribly priced for VERY small portions. That's just to start this review off! The location is great, but once you walk inside it is SO loud you can not carry on a conversation! The sound in this place is awful!

The service was alright...The $9.25 pour of wine was horrible, not the wine, the small amount in my glass. Come on, give some value.

Would we go back? NO, Would we ever like to see our friends or family go here? NO

This was a great place! The wine was good, and so was the atmosphere. Very friendly staff as well. I recommend this place if you're in Oregon City.

I got the mushroom ravioli. The sauce was excellent, and it came with bread. I do have to say, if you need a handicap spot, the only one is on the street next to a curb. That's my only complaint.

Came here with some friends. The inside is very nice, the hardwood floors are beautiful.  It's actually a very nice atmosphere.  Could be a very romantic place to take someone.  The service was very good.  The owner even came over to check how our food was.   I had the Beef Tenderloin, it was SO tender and tasted great.  Also had the creme brulle and it was excellent.  I highly recommed this place and will be back to visit.  When friends or family come to town this is one place I will bring them, it has a really wonderful atmosphere.

Nebbiolo is just what downtown Oregon City needed. Great wine, superior small plate food and well crafted cocktails. This is a great spot. The interior is upscale and comfortable. On a nice day the sidewalk tables can't be beat. Wines focus on local vintners, some well known, others more obscure but all unbeatable. The cheese and meat boards are delicious. It's too bad Nebbiolo isn't open for lunch but for an early afternoon snack or a dinner date this place is perfect.

After a long day of work and being without our child my wife decided we needed a nice little date so we went to Nebbiolo, which we had been very curious to try.
We started by getting two appetizers the calamari and the shrimp scampi and then we ordered the pan seared salmon to share as the entree.
The calamari was par for the course. It was fried in a light batter and had a fairly mild but great flavor for the dipping aioli.
The shrimp scampi was phenomenal! The shrimp was cooked to give it the texture of lobster and the sauce had the best flavor! My wife was soaking the bread in the sauce after the shrimp was gone, which must have been apparent being the waitress came and asked if we wanted more bread to dip, lol.
Next came the pan seared salmon this salmon was to die for! The sear on the salmon was crisp and flavorful and the salmon was tender and flaky. The risotto and cream of mushroom sauce was SOOO good, we wiped the plate clean.
All in all this was a great place. The menu is small but all the food was great. I think the two dollar sign for price is a little off it seemed spending to me but great food.

After walking out of Cypress because of horrible service, we got a table here and were amazed. The server was super friendly and helpful in choosing drinks. We had a lemon drop and mojito, and they were made with all fresh ingredients and super tasty. We each had a first course/appetizer and both were fantastic. The entrees were also top notch, as were the desserts.

Portions were appropriate, and everything tasted superb. The server was excellent and the food was even better. Total cost for our meal (cocktails, appetizers, entrees and desserts) was $75. Not too bad in my book. We won't eat here every day, but we will definitely be back.

The only downside is it was fairly loud and the seating wasn't very comfortable. Easy to overlook when everything else was so good.

Let me start by saying that our server last night was excellent! (Blond gal).
She was quick to take our orders, quick to get out our food and quick to fill our waters. She was totally willing to take some photos for us and allowed us happy hour items after happy hour had ended. What she said was that management allowed happy hour customers to order additional items at happy hour prices, if they had been there during the happy hour time frame. That's not to say that you can show up after happy hour and get the reduced prices...but we'd already ordered quite a few food items and drinks and I wanted "Just one more"  food item, since I hadn't ordered enough prior. That was a really big deal to me and will definite get my business back!

The sliders are adequate in size and looked delicious (my friend ordered those). I got the blue cheese and walnut salad - which was decent sized as well....but should have know that "rabbit food" would not be filling enough for me. We also shared a cheese plate, but it wasn't very big and I could have easily eaten that myself - considering it had a red wine soaked goat cheese and 2 other amazing sharp cheeses.
I also ordered a "Juice mojito" from the happy hour menu. Our server wasn't sure what the juice-of-the-day was and went to check. Upon coming back, she said the bartender would really like to try out a muddled blackberry one on me and asked if that sounded good. Oh yeah!! Blackberry's are my favorite! I was thrilled to get that on special and can say that I will never want a regular mojito again, if I can help it.

As for the location, it's right downtown OC, where parking is free on the street after 5 pm M-F. That's $2-$3 cheaper for us than if we went downtown (where you have to pay until $1.50/hr until 7 pm).

The restaurant itself has been remodeled and is really, really nice inside. Not that we cared so much - since it was gorgeous outside and we wanted to be in the sun. The restaurant was full and we were the only ones willing to brave the heat, but the rains will be here soon enough, so we needed to take full advantage.

I am just so happy that downtown Oregon City has been rejuvenated! One could come down after work and bounce to 3 or 4 really great spots over the course of an evening. Nebbiolo being a not-to-miss location.

The food here is outstanding. Stopped in our way home to Seattle to get a bite to eat & I was totally blown away. Great service & wine selection.they had 20 different wines by the glass for under &10.00 which is a great deal for really good wine. The atmosphere was so relaxing.. I would definitely come back again..

I have been anxiously awaiting Nebbiolo to join the downtown Oregon City area. I have not been disappointed.. I have been more times than I can count since their opening the first of June. I love the Tapas menu, I have yet to try an entry..but have enjoyed the smaller portions so we can order several options and share. The prices are appropriate for the quality of food that is being served. This is unlike anything else in OC and excited to see how they continue to evolve. The staff is wonderful. Joe created a drink especially for one of my co workers which made her day...The staff is professional, efficient and very friendly. I highly recommend Nebbiolo and welcome the addition to downtown!

This place could have it all; it's beautifully renovated, has a great wine selection, a decent menu and Yvette (owner/chef) is amazing, all things historic Oregon City has been missing for a long time

The down side noticed by two different groups I was with on two different occasions is the owner, Joe.
He might have a good business sense however he needs a lot of polishing as far as customer service, friendliness and good manners none of which were apparent both times we were there.

Its obvious he has a great concept and idea for this place but his attitude toward his guests' is "after you spend your money then go away kid you're bothering me".
If this was a one time event I wouldn't even think twice as we all have a bad day occasionally but this seems to be his M.O. all the time from what we've seen.

So if you want good wine and a nice atmosphere, this is the place but gracious, customer service needs polishing.

Been looking forward to this place opening up in downtown OC. My husband and I stopped in for a glass of wine and I was pretty impressed by the wine list, plenty of choices by the glass, (not like that other wine bar around here that only offers one choice for each of the types of wine). Place was very busy but service was friendly and prompt. Didn't try any of the food tonight, but the wines that we had was very enjoyable. It was a little noisy in the place, but overall, a very nice visit. They even have a few tables outside. Looking forward to coming back and trying more!

This place needs a little work. High prices for very small portions, but good food overall. Service was slow.
