My husband and I went there during the week for a date night escape.  We had great service, Michelle again, as another reviewer mentioned her.  We decided to share small plates for dinner to sample several different options.  They had the most amazing flat bread special of the day with braised spare ribs, corn, arugula and Gruyere. Holy cow, we could have eaten two of those!  The spicy tempura shrimp appetizer was really well done.  Their chicken skewers had great flavor and were very filling.  We had a really yummy salad, I can't recall what it was called but it had this really unusual breaded egg on it that was very good.  The part that is not to be missed is the white chocolate strawberry bread pudding.  This might be the hands down best bread pudding we've had.

The other nice thing about this place is it's a little bit north of all of the other downtown Roswell restaurants and there is parking available!  They have a valet lot and there are places to park on the street.  The same can't be said for a lot of the Canton Street restaurants.

Once again, another great restaurant pops up in Roswell. Let me start the review by saying the service was top notch. The servers were very knowledgeable about the appetizers, entrees, and even wine. I wasn't sure which wine I wanted, so I just described the type of wines I usually drink. The server recommended a wine, and it was PERFECT. I can't remember what it was called, but it was a white wine from Germany. If you like Moscato, get the sweet white wine from Germany!

As for the ambiance, we sat outside on the patio. The setting is very romantic; there is a fire pit in the middle and it probably increases the 'romance scale' when it's on. But sadly, we were there when the sun was still up. Also, I went with family, so we really didn't need the romance factor (haha).

We ordered a few appetizers: Crab Croquette, Tempura Lobster Tail, Asian Style Pork Flat Bread (today's special), soup of the day. Always ask for today's special, because the flat bread was phenomenal. The pork was cooked perfectly with succulent sauce/seasoning and all of the toppings in addition to the pork was really tasty. Usually, I can pick out a favorite when there are several appetizers on the table, but honestly, I can't. They're all my favorite. The lobster tail was awesome, the crabs were so soft and the meat just melts in your mouth, and the soup was thick and just full of flavor.

And for the entrees! I'm going to breakdown each of the entrees for you, so you know exactly what you're going to order for your visit!

Duck Confit: Duck has to be one of my favorite meats. And the duck is cooked to perfection- the meat just falls off the bone. It comes on top of a bed of creamy risotto and delicious sauce, next to roasted brussels sprouts. I've never been a fan of brussels sprouts, but after I ate these, I bought a bag of brussels sprouts at the grocery store (haha, I'm crazy).

Scallops: These scallops had to be the biggest scallops I've ever seen in my life. There are four huge scallops on top of mushroom risotto. This plate was absolutely delicious, although i was completely full, I couldn't stop eating the risotto.

Pork Shoulder: If you're super hungry, order this. Gigantic pork shoulder meat comes on top of bread pudding and asparagus. The pork shoulder was very tasty and the bread pudding was soft and full of flavor.

From service all the way to food and wine, everything was great. I had an awesome dinner time.

Make this place your next anniversary dinner or date night! You won't be disappointed.

I just ate at Noca for the third time. All three times were excellent. Their duck confit is outstanding; I've also had the short ribs which are amazing and super tender. Managed to leave room for the blueberry cobbler, which was also quite wonderful. Service is always good at this establishment; and it was a lovely evening to dine on the patio with the amazing music of Judy Brown and Marvin Taylor. I highly recommend this place. Only there 4 months but I know they'll be around for a long time.

Food and service were as good it gets.  Great atmosphere and just an overall wonderful experience.  The IPA mussels were incredible.  Everyone's meal was excellent and I would definitely go back.  I highly recommend eating here!

My wife and I went to meet some friends for their anniversary and a birthday get together. We were all pleasantly surprised with the dinner we had and the great service. All the menu items that were served to us were excellent. So glad we found this little place on Canton Street in downtown Roswell. We will certainly be back.

This is a place I was prepared to like, no I wanted to love it.  And it was close.  The menu was interesting and the prices were good for what was being offered.  The bar was a little pricey but given the cool patio, fire pit and inside outside bar I was not put off.  In point of fact, if not for the service I would have given NOCA 4 stars and not two.  Our server did not seem to be able to remember simple request.  We were a table of 6 seated at 8:15 and the dinner crowd was thinning out.  When I ordered my cocktail I also asked for water.  I got the cocktail first and it took 10 minutes.  I asked again for water and it took another 5.  When she brought the water I indicated that I was thirsty and would need a refill soon.  I spent most of the night with an empty water glass.  This was indicative of how service was going to go for the evening.

Our appitizers (we ordered 5) showed up but we were given no small plates.  I guess we were expected to use our bread plates.  Seemed a little beneath the price point and white table cloth atmosphere.  Then the entrees began to arrive.  One order was a salad with a side of risotto.  Salad arrived without dressing and the risotto was cold.  Took 5 minutes to get the dressing and we had to ask the server 3 times to bring hot risotto which never happened.  My meal of Salmon Oscar arrived luke warm and with the sauce beginning to congeal.  Now let me state that I could see  the kitchen window and I could see our server much of the time.  I watched her dig in her purse for something for several minutes.  Then I saw her get into a clearly humorous conversation with another server and generally not pay a great deal of attention to our table or any of the other tables she was waiting on.  Making sure we left having had a good experience and felt that it was money well spent was not her top priority.

Let me be clear, I think my food would have been great if it had been hot and served when it was plated.  I would have been in a better mood if I could have gotten a glass of water or a second cocktail.  This is a place I will return to but now it has to hit a high bar to earn my business.  Management needs to spend some time training and supervising the staff.  Location -GREAT, Bar Atmosphere - Great.  Menu - Great.  Food - Average (due to showing up cold).  Service - AWEFUL.

Canton Street in Roswell continues to grow in it's appeal with a plethora of restaurants offering a diversity of succulent offerings.  NOCA brings much to the party.

With an inviting patio and warm interiors, the space is just elegant enough.  My friend and I loved the food as well as the attentive service.  He raved about the salmon  which I did not try.  However, my veal schnitzel had a nice crunch on the outside, was perfectly tender on the inside and was well seasoned .

We shared the mussels appetizer. They came with a delicious broth and ample bread.

    Did I mention full bar?

Love this place-- great ambience and the food was good, very good for the most part. There were some negatives that almost made me put a 3-star here. I was here with my colleague and the service was -- well, I have to say it, just very very slow. It may have been just us but time and again, my soda was watered down and just ice, I had to ask for a refill each time. Yet our server had no problem filling up our wine glasses and offering more wine. Hmmm. We got calamari for starters plus a cheese and meat plate-- the former was - I have to say it, rather lame, but the latter was delicous. Wine list is great. Outdoor patio seating with a bar and fire pit-- great. I had a burger which was great- but my colleague ordered scallops which she said were terribly spicy-- she had to return it. Also she had ordered some sides which didnt' come out-- and when we asked for bread, they didn't have it. they could only provide the bread that was like toasted/crispy bread that came with the meat/cheese plate. Odd. Further, I'm from Chicago where smokers can smoke if it is outside. My colleague said that you can't do that here- so she asked, since there was no one seated by us (outside) if she could smoke. The server said something like "you do NOT want to ask the owner that here...." And she asked him to ask anyway, and the manager or owner would not come out to our table. I find this BIZARRE. And please note- I have personally worked in restaurants for almost 8 years in high school and college, it's an industry that thrives on SERVICE and relationships. I found the chilly vibe from ownership/management to be a bit absurd. Would I go back? Maybe. But it was enough of a negative that I'd think twice about it.

Ron is the owner and also owns Zest.  Of the 2 I prefer Zest.  However my friends salad (the one with the bacon) was AMAZING.   The risotto and Tuna tartar were just okay.  There's huge potential.  It's new, and they don't totally have the menu worked out.  But if past performance is any indicator, THEY WILL.  It's a great place with a great patio!

My husband and I went last night for dinner and it was great. The food was very good and I only had a few recommendations to make it even better. My husband had the scallops w/ risotto and they were perfectly cooked. The risotto was tender to the bite and creamy. I had the Veal Schnitzel which was also good. My only suggestion was to have a little less or a finer breading, but it was still very tasty. For appetizers we had the deviled eggs....wasabi mixed in...very yummy! Crab Croquettes were good as well. Drinks were well done. I was not crazy about the metallic martini glasses (seemed kind of cheap compared to regular glass). Dessert was blueberry crumble with some kind of sorbet that had Proseco in it....very good.

The service was phenomenal. Be sure to ask for Michelle. I have not had that kind of service in any Roswell restaurant yet. She was attentive but not hovering, gave good recommendations about the menu, and was a pleasure to talk to. She is a credit to the restaurant and I hope they do whatever they need to do to keep her.

Atmosphere is very relaxing. The outdoor bar and fire pit are really cool, even for a night in June. Need to find a slightly dimmer light on the corner above the entrance door as it was blinding when they flipped it on. Please do not allow smoking near the patio. It is really gross and if someone wants to go smoke they should do it behind the restaurant. I was also not impressed to see the owner imbibing with his patrons. it was late, but that just does not strike me as professional. If anything he should be going table to table to see how our experience was, especially since the restaurant was new. He appeared to be more interested in hanging with girls young enough to be his daughter and some drunk lady who was having her birthday and decided to do shots while loudly proclaiming that she was going to throw up later.....very charming. Act your age for heaven's sake!

All of the above taken into consideration, NOCA should be a success and I will certainly return and will most definitely ask for Michelle again. Apparently the owner of NOCA also owns Zest, so that is encouraging...

The patio was a nice area for outside dining, had a big stone firepit.  I found the drinks a little pricey but what else do you expect in downtown Roswell.  The food was good, a little underwhelming.  I had the salmon which was slightly overdone, my husband had the scallops.  Our friends had the beef short ribs which were good, and a side of brussel sprouts which were excellent.

My husband and I wanted to check out this recently-opened restaurant in downtown Roswell, so we went last Friday night.  It was a beautiful evening, and we were seated on the patio.  I loved the stone firepit outside, which was literally right behind me as we dined.  They turned it on, and surprisingly, it wasn't too hot or uncomfortable on a warm evening - a very welcoming touch to the decor.  People got drinks and sat around it as they waited for tables, so it makes a nice "waiting" area, which is kind of cool. We also loved the indoor/outdoor bar space.  There's nothing else like that nearby, so it definitely stands out.

We ordered calamari as an appetizer, which was great!  (Hard to screw that up though, I suppose.)  I had a Jade martini, which I loved, but I'm a girly martini kinda gal.  My husband found a draft beer that pleased him, and everything was off to a great start!

I had the braised pork for dinner and my husband had steak frites.  Both were excellent.  The pork dish said it came with asparagus, and when it arrived, it came with collard greens.  This didn't bother me, as I like both, and the greens were delicious! The pork is a hearty portion, which the waiter was sure to tell me.  Speaking of waiters, we had a very professional, nice gentleman who made some recommendations, shared his thoughts, but never pushed anything on us.  He was attentive, and very mellow, which was nice.  He made us feel at ease.  Too bad I forgot his name!  :-(  I'm sure I'll see him again, and I'll remember next time!

At any rate, the food was fantastic, and the presentation was lovely, but I was too stuffed to carry on with dessert...maybe next time.  The bill was reasonable for what we got.  I think this is going to be a great addition to the dining scene in Roswell, and I hope for another stellar experience in the near future!

I recently learned about this restaurant opening and decided to visit. It was worth it.
I was excited to hear that duck confit was on the menu. Recently, that has become one of my favorite dishes. If you like duck confit, I doubt you will be disappointed.

I started with the deviled eggs as an appetizer. The deviled eggs are prepared with wasabi, roasted shallot cream, chive and smoked paprika. I do not like wasabi however, there was just enough to not be over powering. It was a good blend of flavors. The taste of traditional deviled eggs with a twist.

The duck confit was served with creamy farro and roasted brussel sprouts. It was great! One of the best duck confit dishes I have tasted so far.
The duck confit is served with creamy farro and roasted brussels sprouts and a side of cranberry duck jus. This was my first time eating farro; it was a great compliment to the duck and brussels sprouts. The jus was good however, I did not use it much.

The Belle Glos Pinot Noir was an excellent choice in wine.

The deserts are made here. I opted for the white chocolate bread pudding it is prepared with strawberries and vanilla bean anglaise. It is topped with whipped cream and a mint leaf. That is one of the best bread puddings I have ever tasted.

The night I visited, it was a great night to sit out on the patio. There was good jazz music playing in background. In addition, there is a gas fire pit outside, that makes for a great dining experience.
