Norm's Place

Just got home a couple miles from Norm's Place. I was charged $2.50 for my son's Root Beer which was included in his Kids' meal. I had inquired her about the obvious mistake, and she was adamant that I would pay for the soda. And then I thought to myself, "Ok, that is your tip." Moreover, my son and I waited for almost 40 minutes for a plate of Kids' burger and an appetizer. Norm's Place, you need to shape up.

Went for a beer, came out exactly 45 mins later with 2 new friends including the owner (Justin) and the bartender (Coach...honest to God not kidding...Coach).  I didn't eat just enjoyed the banter and the excellent beer selection  from draft to bottles.  Norm's is homage to a different time and place...a better one.  Located in beautiful and quaint downtown Danville, it really doesn't get much better than this for a drinking man.

Great food. Excellent service. Never too crowded. Good beer selections and solid menu with great burgers, huge salads and kids menu.
