**** Its a shame that an owner has to stoop to making accusations about a real customer being a shill. Â I'm sharing the facts of my experience, TINY pours, overpriced wine, overpriced food, cheap decor in a strip mall. Â I am trying to help my fellow yelpers, so I'm sorry PJ if your business is harmed, but you need to make some SERIOUS changes if you want to compete. Â Yelpers feel free to call me at 330-648-3354 if you want to check my credentials. Â I don't know, or have an affiliation with anyone at any wine bar. Â Sorry PJ, my experience was terrible, and I'd recommend any local wine bar over yours....*******
Stay away! Â This place is a horror show, worse than any tourist trap..The wine is incredibly overpriced and the pours are TINY! Â Were talking 2 oZ pour for 10 to 18 dollars!!!!! $9 Â for 4 microwaved samosas were served on a styrofoam plate with a plastic fork-- I have bought these exact same samosas at an Southeast Asian store for$4.99 with 24 in the box. RIP OFF! This owner means well, but it is obvious from the cheap furniture, ugly rugs and lack of customer service that this place is out to make $$. Please consider elsewhere. Â Also there's some people that reviewed this place that are affiliated with it, so don't believe the hype. Â Please check my other reviews for other spots that are much better than this one....
I REALLY, REALLY wanted to give this place a better review. Â There are not that many places to enjoy a nice evening out in San Ramon. . .you can tell they have a good group of "regulars" and they were chatting it up when we were there on Saturday night. Â They also have a retail area where you can pick up a bottle to go along with some cheese. So here's the deal. Â The good: Â The live music was great. Â The atmosphere was very cozy. The gentleman serving us was very pleasant. Â The bad: the cost per glass was on the high end. Â So were the cheese plates, which we did not order, but saw what the table next to us got. Â And (this is the most unsual piece of our visit) Bagel Bites pawned off as appetizers. Â Although we did save a few dollars because it was "happy hour" we weren't very jovial when we left. Â I doubt if we will be back.
