Reviewing again because somehow my review was deleted.  Bottom line.... bad service, bad overly priced wines, creepy owner.  Don't go here.

**** Its a shame that an owner has to stoop to making accusations about a real customer being a shill.  I'm sharing the facts of my experience, TINY pours, overpriced wine, overpriced food, cheap decor in a strip mall.  I am trying to help my fellow yelpers, so I'm sorry PJ if your business is harmed, but you need to make some SERIOUS changes if you want to compete.  Yelpers feel free to call me at 330-648-3354 if you want to check my credentials.  I don't know, or have an affiliation with anyone at any wine bar.  Sorry PJ, my experience was terrible, and I'd recommend any local wine bar over yours....*******

Stay away!  This place is a horror show, worse than any tourist trap..The wine is incredibly overpriced and the pours are TINY!  Were talking 2 oZ pour for 10 to 18 dollars!!!!! $9  for 4 microwaved samosas were served on a styrofoam plate with a plastic fork-- I have bought these exact same samosas at an Southeast Asian store for$4.99 with 24 in the box. RIP OFF! This owner means well, but it is obvious from the cheap furniture, ugly rugs and lack of customer service that this place is out to make $$. Please consider elsewhere.  Also there's some people that reviewed this place that are affiliated with it, so don't believe the hype.  Please check my other reviews for other spots that are much better than this one....

I REALLY, REALLY wanted to give this place a better review.  There are not that many places to enjoy a nice evening out in San Ramon. . .you can tell they have a good group of "regulars" and they were chatting it up when we were there on Saturday night.  They also have a retail area where you can pick up a bottle to go along with some cheese. So here's the deal.  The good:  The live music was great.  The atmosphere was very cozy. The gentleman serving us was very pleasant.  The bad: the cost per glass was on the high end.  So were the cheese plates, which we did not order, but saw what the table next to us got.  And (this is the most unsual piece of our visit) Bagel Bites pawned off as appetizers.  Although we did save a few dollars because it was "happy hour" we weren't very jovial when we left.  I doubt if we will be back.

I've been waiting for PG's Crow Canyon Wine to open for quite awhile as it is across from my work- so convenient for what they term "wine indulgence hour." We stopped in on New Year's Eve for a quick tasting before heading out to dinner in Walnut Creek.

The atmosphere was nice - lots of room in the tasting bar and nice tables to sit down at if you have a group. We sat at the bar and tried a couple of things - several champagne's, a petite syrah and a chardonnay. Overall, they have a great selection!

The owner was personable and welcoming. They are very flexible and are also able to accommodate private events.

I'll be back again next week. What a great addition to San Ramon, for both the after work (business crowd) and anyone living in the Danville/San Ramon area.

I had stopped into this new wine, cheese and chocolate tasting bar a few weeks ago to find out what it was all about. The place was empty it was lunch time and the owner was tasting wines. He stopped to talk with me to explain their concept. He gave me a pamphlet and the web site and said I should view it to get their weekly activities such as ladies night, wine and food pairing dinners and music nights.

When I left I looked up the web site but it seems to be a work in progress because there was not much there as far as the calendar and events. I have checked it several times but it always seems vague and outdated so I would recommend that they keep it up to date since this is one of their best tools for getting new customers. They did seem to have a nice selection of wines to choose from. A small tasting bar that will seat about 6 and then some tables in a carpeted area that looked comfortable. It is a small place maybe hold 20-30 if standing. I will go back to taste wine and update my review.
