O'Charley's

I love O'Charley's, especially their rolls. There's nothing really special about them, they're just yummy.

We love coming here for the loaded potato soup - it is fantastic - the rolls are good as well.   What wasn't good on our most recent visit was the service.  The server greeted us promptly, brought our drinks and took our orders fine. She was very nice.  However, my son ordered soup and salad, I ordered a salad, and my husband ordered a sandwich and soup combo.  My son received his salad, and then his soup - fine.  The problem is that he was almost completely done with his soup by the time my husband and I got our food.  He had to sit and wait for us to eat., after we had to sit and watch (and drool) him eat. I have no idea why it took so much longer for our food to come out than my son's - and no reason or apology was given.  The restaurant had customers, but was not "busy" by most standards.  They have already closed one of the O'Charley's in Fort Wayne, I hope not to lose this one as well, but the kitchen needs to send out the meals at the same time, and the servers need to explain and apologize for the wait.  Except for their unique soup, the food is just as good elsewhere.

Great food and family atmosphere. Good choice of entrées and deserts. Tasty salads and appetizers. You can enjoy yourself and relax In a comfortable booth or at the bar. Good music plays I'n the background and the servers are great. Enjoy!
