Just trying to throw a little PSA out there for those ignorant like me--THIS IS THE TEX MEX VERSION OF HOOTERS.

BF and I were staying at the Baymont nearby. We needed a quick lunch and I was craving tacos so I whipped out my trusty Yelp phone app and this place came up as being very close to us, with a decent star rating. As we walked in (and I mistakenly only looked at the hostess, who was significantly more clothed than most of the servers) I doofily said, "oh, this is like the Tex Mex version of Buffalo Wild Wings!" to which the BF whispered in my ear, "nooo... it's Hooters!"

Seeing the bottom of our waitress' butt cheeks sticking out of her "shorts" kinda ruined it for me, but the food wasn't bad. The parmesan garlic chili wings were okay, but a bit too spicy for us even though they were only "medium" on the menu (but then, we are Yankees). My shrimp and pastor tacos were both really good, though.

Small pet peeve... they have uber chilled beer mugs which I hate because A) dead giveaway you don't serve good beer and (more importantly) B) I think it's gross when the head on your beer gets all frozen and chunky. But whatev. I was more concerned with being literally the only fully clothed female in the bar (until another couple came in, and then even a pregnant woman by herself... I was impressed).

Good concept executed poorly. The restaurant its self is very nice. Lots of flat screens everywhere and the booths have their personal tvs. Drinks are good. The beer towers are creative and look cool. The downfall is their food. Chips and queso was good. Tacos, chicken enchiladas, flautas and carne tampiquena, was all gross. Worse than a Tex-Mex restaurant!! I understand people come here to have drinks but the food shouldn't be this bad. And at $10.00 a plate I rather go the other way to Fuel City!  The service was very slow and the place wasn't busy, Sunday 10pm. Took about 40mins to get our food. If I ever go back it will be for the atmosphere and drinks. Definitely not the bland greasy food!

Cool place if you can speak and understand Spanish. The waitress's are scantly clad which wasn't much of a surprise for what is mostly a Mexican joint.  This Gringo had fun and would consider going back with the right people.  Not for the super gringo though.

Got the corporate monkey credit card in dallas.. lets go to ojos...Ive watched the place go from free chips and salsa to no chips and salsa. The place has gotten what I call restaphoria. Owners who made money and then let the business drag as profits increase. The food..awful. I ordered ceviche $9 and for some stale chips and a half coffee cup full of ceviche no bueno. Fish and rice. What salt plank is this..hypertension on a plate. The wings sucked. The women were pretty but ....if there was a seesaw with food on one end and hot chicks on the other. its still heavily  tilted on the crap food. Save your money look at hot chicks on webcam and sit at home with chips salsa. The food is better and the chicks will give you more attention. piss poor service. here is your 21% an extra 1% for the days ill never come back. adiosss!

Let me set the scene for you: late Spring in Texas. 'Nuf said. Either they didn't have a working AC or they didn't bother to turn it on. Either way, it was HOT. And it wasn't just me! The entire table I was sitting with, a total of probably about 15-20 people were HOT and fanning themselves and overall suffering. The service (and our table mostly just ordered beer) was BAD. I waiting for a cup with ice for a good 7 minutes before a server ever came to check on us and then another 5 minutes waiting on it.

Service was on point! From the moment you walk in the employees take care of you. Try the Barbacoa tacos! Be careful because the pink onions will burn your taste buds! Over all awesome place! I will be back

Ok so maybe The girls are scantily clothes but really sweet. I like to watch my
Male friends drool like little teenagers.  It is fun.  Aside from
That they have HOT wings and yummy, authentic street tacos. I always have a great time there.  Ask for ESMERALDA or Liz. :-)

Think Hooters with a Latin twist. And it's a good twist.

When you walk in you are greeted by a couple of ladies at the door. One of them will get you seated.

All the girls appear to be of Latin heritage of some sort.

The tables along the windows and wall have there own little flat screen TV, plus there is plenty of large flat screens covering the full back wall and every other space they could find.  So you can watch any sport that's going on that day.  Soccer is usually the sport of choice during the lunch hours.  And baseball, now that it's in season.  ESPN & NFL Network are the other main players on.

As far as food goes, it's not bad at all, especially for sports bar grub. Much to say really, the tacos are my favorite.  The menu is about what you're expecting; burgers, tacos, hot wings, etc. And COLD beer!  They also have a full bar, so it's not a bad place to hang out.

The waitresses have all been fun and friendly with average or above service.

It's a good place to hangout, watch sports and drink.

Great sports bar with some of the best bar food ive ever had. We tried their wings and barbacoa tacos, and I will be trying their ceviche next. The waitresses were very nice to me even though Im a girl, so its not just for the guys!

Supposedly, this is Latin competitor to Hooters. Well, during my previous visit, it just came across only slightly elevated.

Same idea as Hooters, except they hire (Latina) eye candy as the primary staff members. The food was OK (I had a forgettable sandwich). Same with the wings, they were just OK. However, they're guacamole was surprisingly good. It actually had some lemon/lime tang, which is always a great touch! Dude, I swear if you say "That's what she said!" one more time...

This guy here. Anyway, The Crew recommended this spot, but I was a little unimpressed (Bikinis in Ag-Town had better looking girls and food), but I was told there are better days. Well, I'm always game for another attempt.

Try that big beer pong thing, but with a light beer (e.g. Coors Light). It's a great way to share beer among friends.

Walked in on a Friday.  The first thing I saw was a cop working the door.  This place is ok to have a drink, that's about it.

I've been wanting to try this place out for awhile but of course I didn't want to enter this establishment by myself and tag myself as the loser that came in to check out the hot girls?  As I'd entered, my first impression was the warm feel I got from this place, and the tv's adjusted decent places for people to have a good view, and the music was decent. In comparison to the brick house tavern in Plano, I felt that this bar beats brickhouse hands down over food and servers being extra hot !!! I tried the yucatan burger and I'm still thinking about it, man that is a damn good burger and I've tried some good burgers before. All in all, I would recommend anyone whose looking for a good sports bar and great food atmosphere for any kind of events that your planning.

    Regards,

    Bryan

My boyfriend & I were in Dallas for the weekend and happened to drive past this place late on a Friday night, so we decided to give it a try. We had the best time! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was a lot of fun! We had wings & tacos and they could not have been better! Our waitress was also very friendly & helpful. OKC could use a place like this. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a fun sports bar with a unique atmosphere. It would also be great for a after work happy hour!

Think Hooters.... Bone Daddies.... add some Salsa.... you get Ojos Locos.

Food is pretty good (better than Hooters) and yes.... the servers are pretty.

The personal TV screens on every table is a fantastic concept. I'm surprised we don't see more of it.

Having lunch on a weekday is probably not the best time to judge this place. The food was just mediocre. I couldn't sample the drink menu since my employer may frown upon my being inebriated at work.

the lady who served us was excellent. Quick and helpful and she seemed to be the only one really doing all the work with the rest just looking(or trying to look) pretty.

I probably will not be back.

An interesting spot. BFF and I have passed this place so many times and decided to pop in this weekend. Once we figured out how to get to it,  and that was a chore, winding around streets off Technology Blvd. but finally it was in sight.

We were two of maybe four Gringos in the restaurant, and it was fairly packed on a Sunday afternoon.  It's obviously aspiring to a specific demographic, which is working well. This is definitely a male dominated spot,  only maybe 5 or 6 were we of the  female gender; for obvious reasons, need I say more.  It's a  bar with lovely hostesses and servers.  (Sports may also play a small role, too. LOL)

Many Flat screen TVs every direction you look, along the walls, at the bar, etc..  "Sports Cantina" says it all.

Greeted by a young hostess in a short skirt (shorter than a tennis skirt?), low cut top and big smile. She was gorgeous. BFF's eyes widened, ahem. What the hay, he's a healthy handsome young man!

Atmosphere - 3 stars; cute funky spot, kinda  place to hang out, let go and have fun. Felt very comfortable,

Large bar area, with community tables set up throughout the large cavernous room,  like the bar; no backs on the chairs, so we opted for a comfy booth, and it was, with our own personal small flat screen TV, as all the booths have. Now, that's pretty cool.  Choose your own channel.

Service - 5 stars; incredible attention by a Manager who stopped by 3 times asking about our food, drinks and experience. Asked for "feedback, please". We shared our comments (see below) and he seemed most appreciative. Each staff member we encountered were oh so friendly, and seemed genuinely pleased to have us visit.

Amelia was our delightful server. Also gorgeous in the same attire as the hostess. It worked for her. She was friendly and welcoming. I ordered a TS margarita with Grand Marnier, and she appeared a little puzzled. But upon repeating, she nodded with a big smile indicating she understood me. I believe there was a minor communication issue here, but we managed. BFF ordered his usual Miller Lite draft. Drink delivery was prompt.

Chips & Salsa - 2.5 stars; average @ best.  Had better chips; prefer warm, thinner, saltier, oilier chips, these were just meh;  Salsa had a nice smokey flavor.  Not bad, just not outstanding.

Pork Tacos - 2.5 stars; shredded meat was plentiful, good, tender and moist. Liked the accompanying sauce. However, the corn tortilla was very oily, as if butter or oil had been poured directly on the tortilla. A little too much. Fingers were dripping from the greasiness.

Queso - 1 star; way too thick, bland and flavorless; BFF said it was Velveeta. Had a lot of cilantro on top, but detected no peppers, onions, tomato, etc.

TS Margarita - 5 stars; these folks made it just like I like it; on the rocks, salt, and LOTS of Grand Marnier.  Yumilicious; with that wonderful golden color exemplary of a grand TS Marg. Nice serving @ $9.50, not too bad.

Miller Lite - 5 stars (but aren't all Miller Lites 5 stars if that is your preference?); BFF said it was ice cold, just the way he likes it. Price - $3.50, which he thought was a little pricey compared to many other spots on a Sunday afternoon offering $2.00-$2.25 brews.

We had fun and enjoyed our visit. Don't know that we'll make advance plans to go back, but if in the area, might drop in, have another TS Marg and frosty brew, but not  for the food.

This Cantina has been open since March of 2010. Wish them lots of success. It seems to be a real favorite for a lot of regular patrons.

Been here many times the atmosphere is awesome. The wings are great and have always had good service. I think this is owned by the same people that own Twin Peaks so basicly same type of place except with a hispanic flair. If you like latinas you will love this place. I have met waitresses thier from Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and will you get the idea.

Disclaimer:  I am a guy who drinks beer and loves hot women.

Myself and two other guy came in to watch Pro Bowl.  I know this is a mexican bar so therefore I thought I had to perk up my espanol.  Well I was pleasently surprised that I can beak english and no issues.  This is despite loud tejano music blaring on the speakers.  The Quesadillas were great and the beer was ice cold. My friend suffering from a cold even was able to get a Hot Tea with choice of tea packets.  The women were awesome.

Funny story.  Man Piece and I wanted to go to Jason's Deli for lunch but it was closed.  So we decided to go across the street to Ojos.  Upon walking over there, I said "this looks like it used to be a Hooters."  He said "nah, needs more orange" then I saw a sign that said "Gringos always welcome." Hmmm....already intrigued.

When we walked in we were greeted by two ladies with TIGHT shirts, short short short skirts and decked out in beads and other "eye wandering" flair.  We both started laughing, Hooters is right.

Sports bar fo sho.  Long tables that can fit loads of people.  They also have those foot long beer flasks you can share with all your awesome buddies.  Menu is typical, wings, burgers, nachos, tacos and yes, salads!  Our food I thought took a little while to get to us, but surprisingly my chicken salad was pretty good.  The jalapeno ranch was deeelish! MP got tacos, which were really sad looking and small.  He said the meat was good, but I think they were trying to be authentic without really being authentic.  Whatevs...

Cool thing...each table has its own little flat screen TV, which you can control yourself.  Tons of huge screens all over the bar.  Our server, as little dressed as she was, was uber sweet.  Really attentive and came to check on us quiet often.

I personally don't like that NW HWY area....something about gives me the heebies.  But since we were over there this was a fine sub.

    Low rating.

Discovered this restaurant two weeks after it opened. We walked in and fell in love with the atmosphere. Thought it would be an awesome place to hang out and eat, enjoy a game and the service was great. Why? Well because two weeks into it there were about 5 couples in the entire restaurant & figured once people discovered it, they too would like it & come back.
2nd time around about two weeks after that, we go again and man just as we thought, the place was packed. Hardly any seating. The girls are beautiful and their attire is - well it's a latin version of Hooters.  I find it quite discriminating that all the waitress's and staff are all latin. Looking for a discriminatory lawsuit eventually I must say.
3rd time around, still pretty busy, they have the new bongs they bring you to your table so we ordered one. Great place still good food. Nachos were awesome.
4th time there, we get there, everyone in the bar seems to be having a good time except for a couple of guys who got into a fight at the restaurant, they wouldn't get us a soccer bong cause there were only two of us. Said the rules had changed - had to have 3 or more to get the big one. asked to see the manager because the priving was alot less if you ordered the bigger one. So they split it and gave us two small ones for the price of the big one. Why? Not sure what the difference was but we took it.
5th time there, they changed the menu - nachos we 8 chips only. each one covered with the settings. Smaller portions of food and we had to wait and ask for another drink.
6th time there, we get there, more seating available. Lot of empty tables. More staff, but yet took about 10 minutes to get our first drink then another for our 2nd drink.
7th time there, I ordered nachos again, then our food was not prepared like we asked. They took it back and got it right. Asked for our drinks twice and the third round- Still no drink.
8th and FINAL TIME THERE - They sat us down, we did the nacho appetizers again, I asked for no jalapenos- they come out with our nachos- with jalapenos on them. The waitress asked twice & said "Really? You don't like Jalapenos?" was the question I got. Nachos came out and they had jalapenos. I fianlly got her attention and told her. She comes back and she's like "Oh, yeah you did say that. Sorry." She takes them back, they take the jalapenos off and as I eat the nachos, they still have that hot taste. I could of taken them off myself. Pissed me off.
Then we go to order our food, I ordered a burger, NO CHEESE NO ONIONS. She read our order back to us. Food come  out and by golly there is cheese and onions on my burger. The waitress proceeds and ask "WHY DON'T YOU WANT CHEESE?" I said I am lactose intolerant. What the f*** does it matter. I requested NO CHEESE NO ONIONS prepare it like i asked for & she has no right to ask WHY?
They take the burger back and they scrape the cheese off the burger, needless to say, it nust of not of been hot enough that the cheese didn't melt.
BAD FINAL EXPERIENCE. GET IT RIGHT AND YOU WON'T LOSE SO MANY PEOPLE THERE.
SERVICE HAS GONE WAY DOWN HERE.

I wouldn't recommend it anymore like I used to.

True to what most of the reviews say, if you're a fan of partially dressed Latino women and love to watch sports you will love this place. My friends and I love this place because there are plenty of TVs showing all the games, and the margarita's are great. We go here as often as we can, mostly for the margarita's and the sports and trash talk with other fans. The food is only so-so but who is looking for a 5 star meal in a sports bar anyways??

Ojos Locos is a new hispanic restaurant that I love! The place has soccer balls all over the restaurant as well as enough TV's so there is no bad seat in the house.

The food is great. I am a taco purest and there al pastor and picadillo tacos were wonderful. Our server was also up to speed, keep drink refills at all times and for my friends kept the cold beer flowing.

Ojos Locos is a great spot for a get together with your buddies to watch the game!

    Check it out!

The perfect patron for Ojos Locos is male, drinks alot, and horny for the ladies.  Upon entering, you are greeting by a throng of latinas.  You can't help but notice their too tight top showing what their momma gave them and the If I bend over, oops I just flashed you skirt.  Spare your judgment...they know what they are doing.

Flatscreens all over the place...they aren't playing around with the sports bar theme.

The food is typical bar variety: wings, burgers, and the twist item, tacos!

I ordered a blah bowl of tortilla soup.  Just seemed like they threw ingredients into a bowl and then opened the hot water tap.

The picadillo tacos were rather delicious...a bit spicy and not greasy.

The waitress was attentive and really turning up the charm.  I was half expecting an offer of a lap dance.

In looking around, the entire place was filled with men.  My entertainment however was the sole woman (with I assume work colleagues) and the faces she was throwing at the waitresses strollin around.  Priceless!

Ojos Locos is what it is and doesn't hide what they want their demographic to be.  Drunk horny guys spend money...good call Ojos!

Not too bad not too good.  Stopped by for lunch and sat at the bar with a buddy.  We shared the beef fajita nachos and the habanero boneless wings.  The waitress had a very thick Spanish accent but was very friendly and gave good service for the most part.  As mentioned in other reviews this place is definitely catered to the Latino sports fan.  Soccer and boxing memorabilia aare all over and there is a flat screen every where you look.  They also have those big 100oz beers you can share at the table.  The wings were super hot as expected but packed a great flavor.  The nachos were a tad bland but  a pretty good size and served with some red salsa.  Next time I will try the Mexican inspired burgers or maybe the tacos.

I think this location is great!
The food is such a reflexion of our Texas Culture- Mexican and American in one.
Sports FAns, you have a new home.  Sobretodo para el futbol (no importa que partido, los tienen todos...WOW!)
TV's EVERYWHERE and quite possibly any and all the soccer and other sports game that you can handle, they even have the Pacquiao fight on Saturday the 13).
Love the tacos and that I can do wings at the same time.
The guys will love the girls...how did they get so many Hot Latina women in one place?
The balon beer pitchers are genius (60-100 oz of beer).
My favorite part was the 2X4 shots, you just have to order one and see what it's all about.

This is a new sports bar that recently opened catering to the Hispanic community in the area.  The bar is owned by the same company that opened Twin Peaks.  The location offers lots of flat screen TVs with anything from NBA to soccer and also loud music videos.  The menu is an offering of street vendor type foods to normal bar foods.  They offer Elotes which are just roasted corn on the cob.  The normal offering of tacos, enchiladas and burgers.  They also have multiple happy hour specials and the 60 oz and 100 oz beers. The place is very large and open with lots of parking.
