OVERPRICED and MEDIOCRE-bad food.   $40 for two fish sandwiches and two soft drinks is not casual dinning!  Whatever you do do not order the grilled fish sandwich or the french fries.  Very low quality fish and horribly cooked.  Dry Dry Dry. And $14.95 - felt like we were robbed.  Fish should not need mayo & tarter sauce to be edible.  This was not a one time occurrence but the third time it has happened to me and a guest.  Three strikes and you are out! If your cooks can't grill fish, don't offer it on the menu. And if you are going to charge $14.95 for a grilled fish sandwich it needs to be fresh & local. Not old and imported from God knows where. The french fries are also terrible, my toddler would'n't even eat them. You can likely eat at the Ritz beachside grill for less!  I will never return and would recommend others try anywhere else in Sarasota/Bradenton.  Salty Dig, you should be ashamed of yourself for such below average food, actually unacceptable for the price you are charging.  If you want an ocean view, get to go from anywhere else and head to the beach for a picnic.  You can even take your own alcohol.  Safe your dinning out dollars for one of the many, many restaurants in SRQ/Siesta that actually care about serving quality food cooked correctly.

I would only go there for drinks. Food is extremely greasy and over seasoned to hide bad taste.

Still my favorite grouper sandwich in the Sarasota/Siesta Key area.  Good food, good beers on tap, the Sarasota location is beautiful right on the water and the Siesta Key location is conveniently right downtown and has a friendly bar staff and nice group of regulars.
