I don't give a flyin' fuzz how white trash it sounds to go to a chain steakhouse for a date. It is always the shiz. By far, this is my fav Outback location in Indy because the staff makes our experience positive and fun. The food is always fresh, fast, and de-freakin-licious! Also, I'm a sucker for the 2/$25 menu on Wednesdays. Being in college and eating mostly pasta and saltines, it's a rare treat to stop in for a steak.

Service: I've been here a couple times for dinner with Rob, and the experience is always top-notch. Our servers are always on the ball with a great attitude. Good thing because we are annoying customers when we're ordering dinner. See, Rob will immediately turn on the "Hey, I'm from England! You know you want to give me some free food, right?" charm. I'm telling the server to tell him to shove his accent. It makes for an interesting dinner experience for us all. Especially when he's asking the server how big each steak is, what it tastes like, how it's cooked, where the cow came from, who owned it... then takes 10 minutes to choose a dessert, trying to convince the server to give us free ice cream with it. Yeah. Patience is something I value deeply in the poor soul that gets to wait on us.

Food: We went on a Wednesday for the 2/$25 deal, but then upgrading to the 2/$35 menu, all spur-of-the-moment-like. I had the 11 oz. sirloin and he got Prime Rib, two side house salads, a side of green beans for him and a side of garlic mashed potatoes for me (which we split both with each other because the portions are pretty big), and carrot cake (with free ice cream because the chick liked his accent *eye roll*). Not to mention the warm bread rolls that they keep bringing out throughout the meal. Oh yeah. Bread me. The steaks were perfect, the house salads were crisp and fresh (love the bits of cucumber in there), and the carrot cake was a nice finish. Not too sweet with pecans, coconut, and a light icing. I had leftovers. That NEVER happens.

I'll say it again: Love, love, love. I really don't care that it's a chain. It rocks my world every time, and it makes the wallet happy too.

Went there tonight and, wow! Pretty good for a chain. The Caesar salad was amazing. The dressing was homemade, not that goop from a tub. Really excellent! Sweet potato with honey and brown sugar was out of this world. This place really is a step above your average chain steakhouse. My son and I loved the complimentary citrus water, we are going to start making it at home. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a great dining experience

As someone who can not afford to go out that much anymore I was not sure about spending hard earned money at Outback. I have thought of them as one of the many CHAIN type places. Our last outing to another CHAIN was disapointing to say the least. So, it is with great surprise that I leave this review.

First , I might mention we did go sort of early around 5PM on a Saturday. We were hungry from a long day and thought it would help to eat early. We were not alone as the dining room semed fairly busy for early. We were seated right away and our waitress Lori was on it. To see this girl work was refreshing. My wife and I are old resteraunt folks and thought the art of waiting tables was lost unless the prices were $$$. But Lori was a PRO and was even multi-tasking. The app and drinks showed up in short order and we had plenty of time to enjoy them before the main course showed up. We both had the steak and lobster special. The steaks were PERFECT and nicley seasoned. The lobster tails were also very well prepared, not over cooked and tough.

Our waitress kept a close eye on us and never let us go without. The meal was so good we could not even finish the potatoes or order dessert. All in all I will say we will be going back sooner than later and if you have not been to OUTBACK in awhile go and enjoy !!
