El Meson

The food at El Meson is inconsistant. Sometimes it is really, really awesome, and sometimes it's just...not good. I always opt for Mexican places that I know will be good. The atmosphere is fun and festive, and the salsa is really good.

Ordered carryout ONCE after a colleague recommended but NEVER AGAIN! Completely overpriced and the food was bland. We work across the street and the food wasn't ready yet when I arrived (but it took a host a good ten minutes to even realize I was at the door waiting). When the food FINALLY came out in containers and I opened it less than 5 minutes later it was COLD. So the food I paid close to $18 for was cold, expensive, and BLAND. Should've gone to Chipotle instead

I understand El Meson is a restaurant by day, we came for the night club.  We had a lot of fun and the bartender introduced me to a great new drink that included Rumchata!  Yummy!
