Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que

While still being casual, with a big paper towel roll on each table, this place is alot more upscale then your typical BBQ place. The food is very good.  They have about 6 different BBQ blends that you can use. Of course pretty much everything comes out with sauce on it already, but if you like it really saucy you could switch up the flavor. If your going for ribs your better off getting the St. Louis style over the Baby-Back style (that I usually prefer).  

My mom once got the rib-tips and they looked terrible and  I would stay away from them. I don't really know what they are supposed to look like, I'm just saying...

We haven't tasted the goods yet,however this place looks awesome!    hot link? BB Q garlic mash & broccoli, cant go wrong?    445pm on Monday not a very big crowds, but I'm digging the decor! Reminds me of Earl's BBQue Gary Burbank's down in Cincinnati.  ..or the  walls display of Old Spaghetti Warehouse-----he's digging in 630pm----not as tender as it could be, however, the flavor -the taste, is pretty good

I have been in Indy for 4 weeks on a business project.  I have been eyeing this place for most of that time.  Having eaten at other Famous Dave's  I was excited.

It was 5:30I walked in and was seated.  The place was not busy.  My guess would be about 40% of the tables were occupied. After sitting down I waited 5 minutes, no service.  10 Minutes.... no service.  15 minutes...... I left.   Noone noticed or seemed to care.

That about sums it up.
