Pacifica

Went to Pacifica a couple nights ago from checking out all the Yelp listings while on a short getaway vacation.  So glad we went there.  Food was delicious.  One of our highlights from the sampling was grilled peaches topped with grilled halloumi drizzled with balsamic reduction.  Outstanding!  Hummus was far too bland for my palette.  There was a cheese and sundried tomato tart that was excellent as well.  But what we really loved was the great service and the fabulous cocktail menu which was very reasonably priced.  We will always come back whenever we visit VA Beach.

Nice tapas style food served in a warm and cozy space. I would not recommend going here in a large group, as they do not take reservation and tend to fill up quickly.

I thought the tapas were all excellent.  We didn't hit a bad one when we went - particularly the scallops and the lobster roll.  The fried chicken special was the weakest.  The drinks were tasty.  We went back a second night.

The food again was solid.  But for some reason I can't explain, it wasn't as stellar.  No clear reason.  Same excellent beer on tap, nice ambiance - casual... and friendly, efficient service.

I would definitely go back again when I am in VB.
