hmmm... I been here several times and I guess I've had a good time every time I've been here. I've never seen hookah here so I don't know what Yelp is talking about. The music is decent, you can sorta dance, but in my opinion if you are looking for a "city-styled" club, this isn't for you. Â Imagine a restaurant with a DJ and cool light. Â That is what Venue is.
Beach kids love it and the parking situation is great, but I've never had an AMAZING time.
I practically lived at Venue. On any given night it was full of people - locals, visitors, and you are bound to run into a bunch of your friends. I would go so often that the staff knows me by name. I've NEVER had a place like that, so it always feels like home. Corny, I know, but it's the best way to describe it. Ever have one of those wild nights that started with a plan to have a drink and lay low but the crowd and music and vibe and drinks just escalated your night into a great story that everyone is piecing together over breakfast the next morning? That's what happens to me at Venue - every single time.
Food. The food is really good too. Not "really good" because you're drunk and starving and everything tastes amazing. It's really good even BEFORE all of that. Taco Tuesday, ugh, I melt. Those tacos are so effing good. And the specials make it even harder to resist.
Drinks. Good and heavily poured if ya know what I mean. Not too strong that it tastes like sh*t, either - just right.
Staff. Really attentive, classy, and not fcking snobs, which is really important to me. Like I said, like home, everyone's happy having a good time, there for the same reason.
Karaoke on Tuesday - you gotta go sing. You're up on a platform so your friends can take video easily and embarrass you on youtube lol. Or at least go for a good laugh to see the drunk people who REALLY think they sound amazing. Take vid of them too ;)
Music. The DJs spin chicks right out of their panties, they're so good. I've seen it happen!
Dancing. There's a bunch of raised platforms where any girls can go up and dance. Ah, so many options of epic pics and videos here.
There's also the less rowdy side that's connected. So it can be a date spot too where you can hear each other and guys can pretend they're listening to what their dates are saying...let's be real, you dgaf, especially because ESPN is usually on the TV's there. The food, staff and drinks are the same on this side, just a little more intimate setting.
That sums it up. See you there, let's do a shot!
Venue 112 is always a great place to drink and have a good time at. Â Sometimes it gets pretty packed, but who wouldn't want to go to a place that's busy....if anything, that's a plus in my book. Â Bartenders are on point, always remembers what you ordered prior, and have drinks ready as soon as one is finished. Â It's definitely got a club scene atmosphere, never fails to entice u to party like a 'Rockstar', and have shots all night long lol....if that's not your thing, sit and chill at a booth with friends, that's always good. Â Food is amazing, and they serve late!! Especially after they stop serving alcohol, many of times I just stay to have food before heading home.....those days where everyone meets at IHOP afterwards are long gone (figuratively speaking hahaha).... To each is own, everyone's got their own taste and preference, but Venue 112 is definitely a highly recommend, and one of my all time favs...
