Best hoagies and sandwiches by far in the area.  There is nothing negative to say about this place.  The food is extremely fresh, made to order and the service is excellent.  The Italian market is a little gem too but a little pricey.  I only wish they had longer hours sometimes!!

Without a doubt the best italian hoagie I have ever had in Pennsylvania.  Having grown up at the Jersey shore, I have been looking for something that could come close to a White House Italian sub.  Pagano's is it!  This place is also a great little Italian market.  Everyone is very friendly there. The only downside is their hours.  I wish they were open everyday and a little later each day, especially Sundays.  Some on Yelp have said it is on the expensive side for a hoagie.  It is, but you are basically getting twice the hoagie.  I actually cannot comfortably finish one, but still do! So, in my opinion, it is actually a good deal!  Pagano's is my favorite sub/hoagie place in Pennsylvania!

Best, most inventive sandwiches ever! I especially love the Turkey Cordon Bleu and Turkey Club. They're somewhat expensive (compared to your average hoagie shop, anyway) and closed on Mondays (bummer), but otherwise SO worth. Plus, it's an Italian market, so you can get all your other favorite Italian eateries while you're there! It's deceptively average looking from the outside but a real gem. Only downside is the lack of parking (but you can easily just go in the shopping center lot next door and walk over!)

The best sandwiches in havertown. Great deli and mama's treats. The service is always fast and friendly. It's like being with family.

Oil or no oil? It was still amazing thanks Phil! Great Mom & Pop Italian Specialty store right here in Drexel Hill! The Chicken Cutlet Caprese Sandwich is my favorite. Their Meatballs are pretty awesome, If you want a hoagie, forget Primos, come to Paganos, you will not be dissapointed. My only drawback is that they are closed on Mondays

I'm a little bias because my Cousins own Pagano's but the place is the best, John & Glen are always there to make sure every customer is happy, they got there work ethic from my Cousin Glen (RIP). The Products they sell are always top notch, the hoagies and sandwiches are to die for. do yourself a favor if your in the Drexel Hill area stop in, you will be glad you did.

I visited Pagano's this afternoon because I was really craving a good Italian hoagie. My fiancé had recommended Pagano's since she grew up in the area. I ordered the Italian Hoagie Pagano and it was delicious. The Italian meats and the brocolli rabe was very fresh and the sharp provolone was amazing. Not to mention the hoagie was HUGE and that was a big plus in my book. I had to save the second half of the hoagie for dinner. You get quality and quantity for a price of $7.79 which was well worth it. The store is well stocked with Italian goods, deli meats, fresh prepared food (the best chicken cutlets ever) and a nice selection of artisan bread. Pagano's is definitely south Philly in the suburbs. I would highly recommend Pagano's as I cannot wait to go back.

definitely the best Italian food around.  Anything you can get there from the chicken cutlets to the sandwiches to the authentic Italian cheeses is amazing, but the best is the pork.  Every year my family has a christmas party for the whole neighborhood and we order pounds of the succulent pork.  It is a huge hit and goes surprisingly quickly. So I give paganos five stars without even hesitating and recommend you go there.

P.S. one last thing.  Their tomato pie is also to die for.  we get that for the party every year, and everyone down to the little kids enjoys it so definitely order a pie or two.

I love Pagano's hoagies! Every time I go back to Baltimore my friends insist I bring some down with me. Some even ask me to ship them down once in a while.  The roast pork is pretty awesome too.  I also love the selection of sliced to order deli meats and cheeses too when I make an antipasto. I suggest anyone who wants a good sandwich or selection of Italian delicacies shop here.

This place is right down the street from my parents house and therefore has been a staple for weekend lunches for a long time. They have wonderful sandwiches. I've had most of what's on the menu and can't complain about anything. I am partial to chicken cutlets, but the hoagies are probably the best I've ever had. Always get the sharp provolone and a seeded roll, that will make you happy!

A little slice of South Philly in the Burbs!  Hoagies from here can truly hold their own against Italian Market completion and they're on Route 1 in Drexel Hill.

To me, the first characteristic of a great hoagie is that you need to be able to taste every ingredient.  If the taste of any one overwhelms the others, that hoagie was botched.  Pagano's has really got their act together.  The ingredients of every hoagie I have tried blend together in a happy Italian marriage on my tongue.

Of course my second characteristic is a great roll.  Once again these guys get it right.  I get a little crunch on the outside and a nice soft interior.  The icing on the cake is that delightful taste of yeast from the bread intermingling with everything else.

One hoagie I really enjoy is the 49th Street Special.  It includes Ham, Ham Capicolla, Di Lusso Genoa Salami, Prosciutto, and Sharp Provolone Cheese, with lettuce, tomato, onion, oil and seasonings.  A large is $7.79 and a serious meal.  Another is the Italian Hoagie Pagano for the same price.  It includes  Ham, Ham Capicolla, Di Lusso Genoa Salami, Broccoli di Rabe, Sharp Provolone Cheese and Roasted Sweet or Fried Hot Peppers.  Once you include Broccoli Rabe in a hoagie I tend to fall in lust!

One final note on this place is the knowledgeable and pleasant people.  Every time I walk out of here I have a little smile on my face.

If you're looking for poor quality meals and products, keep driving by this place.... This has to be one of the best places to stop in for lunch or dinner to take home.  A decent size Italian specialty deli that makes some unbelievable sandwiches. Usually I get an Italian hoagie. Today I went for the sausage scallopini sandwich.
If you're in the area, you gotta stop in here for a meal. The food us great, and the people are very pleasant from the front register to the kitchen in the back.
I wish I had a store like this in my neighborhood.

What's not to love about Pagano's? Go ahead, try and think of something. I'll wait.

Oh, nothing? That's what I thought.

Pagano's has everything you'd want from an Italian specialty store in the suburbs. Frequently, we make the 10-15 minute trek down Route 1 during the workday to indulge in one of Pagano's chicken cutlet hoagies, tomato pie, or the Italian tuna hoagie, which is one of the best sandwiches I've had. While waiting for my sandwich, I inevitably make my way around the store and load up a basket full of, well, whatever will fit inside to take home with me. Even though I constantly end up dropping close about $60 here, it is always worthwhile. After all, I need my fill of succo di frutta.

I've been to Pagano's many times and this place is truly a gem in the Drexel hill area.   They serve awesome hoagies and have truly excellent Italian specialties.   If you are in the area and are looking to get some really good Italian food and you're in this area I would stop in and definitely see what's cooking!

This is the best Italian sandwich shop in the Delaware Valley.  All the sandwiches are amazing but the chicken cutlet with broccoli rabe and sharp provolone- that's my favorite.

Pagano's has some yummy things that are hard to find out in the burbs - namely DiBruno Bros cheese! I got a large container of parmesan romano "sprinkle cheese" as I call it, for 9 bucks.

The sandwiches are great but not cheap - they are on par with getting something from an Italian eatery in the city. They have fresh bread and prepared Italian foods as well as a good selection of pepperoni and other meaty goodies. And pasta of course! Fresh, frozen and bagged.

Lunchtime on the weekend can get crazy and you have to wait in line.

Parking stinks -- getting in and out is a pain. You have to park in the back usually.

This place is great. It is hands down my favorite Italian sandwich shop. I have never had a bad sandwich from there. My fave is the 49th Street Special which is an Italian hoagie with all the Italian meats. I love that it is conveniently located in the suburbs so I don't have to go into the city for a good sandwich. I especially like that it is down the street from me. Their service is great and they are very friendly. They tend to get really busy during the lunch hour. There's plenty of parking out back if you don't see anything in the front.

They are closed on Mondays and on Sundays they close at 2 pm. During the week they close at 6 and I sometimes wish they were open a little later.

I order the whole tomato pies from here every year for my annual block party. They are a hit and everyone can't wait to have them again the next year! Fresh quality ingredients make this simple item awesome.

I have yet to try some of their other items but from word of mouth I have heard great things. They offering a catering menu too.

You have to order some items 24 hours in advance!
