I get the business model and everything (a pizza-inspired Subway), but I just don't like the food.  It's fresh and all, I just don't think it tastes very good.

If I want a pizza worth paying for, I will a) see what deals are going on at the big chains, b) eat at pizza king, or c) get some really good pizza down in Indy (Pizzology).  I don't get how going in to get a lackluster pizza made then taking it home to cook in an oven that's not suited to cook pizza (most home ovens do not get nearly hot enough).  Yes it's cheap, but so are the big three chains (Dominos, Papa Johns, and Pizza Hut) and they cook it for you and deliver!

This joint kicks ass.  We never had a place like this in the big city I used to live in, I love it.  You get a lot for your money, it tastes great and it's FUN.

If baking your own pie sounds like a drag or perhaps you're unsure of your oven skills, have no fear.  The instruction sheet is clear and easy.  It even comes with its own baking tray.  All you really have to do is twist the oven dial and set a timer.

I wouldn't call Papa Murphy's pizza varieties fancy or gourmet by any means, but you'll get a hefty, quality pie that skimps on nothing.  It compares favorably to big name chain pizza joints (but notably cheaper) and beats the pants off grocery freezer pizza or those horrible $5 "Hot & Crappy" one-topping jokes.

Perhaps it's a bit irrational, but there's just something cool about pulling a freshly baked pizza out of your own oven.  Pick one up and try it next time there's a good game on TV or you have a DVD to watch.

Food: 5/5 The only place that can even compare to this place vs other chain pizza places is well... no where, you get more toppings and everything for half the price, I love me some double stuffed dual layered meat pizza (that's not the actual name I just call it that Haha) and the cheese bread is awesome

With a family of 6, its perfect for those nights when you just need it simple and hot out of the oven at home and easier on the budget.

Why pay $20 for pizza that you are going to have to wait an hour for to be delivered when you can pay less than half and take it home and bake it yourself? That is the question that Papa Murphy's strives to answer. With many different toppings to choose from, you can initally think of Papa Murphy's like a Pizza Hut or Papa John's, but once you order a pizza you will quickly see the differences.

First off - they are HUGE, and so covered with toppings that it makes Domino's look like a chump. I tend to like just the plain cheese pizzas, and might I recommend the cheesy breadsticks as well.

Of course, this route isn't as convenient as the delivery joints, but it does save time overall, and all it really requires is the turning of a knob on your oven, which I think even the laziest of people could manage. Try it today!
