My sister and I have been coming here for years - it is the BEST fish fry you will find - we have tried many fine dining restaurants and other pubs but always end of here.  The breading is light and the fish is plentiful.  We always sit in the bar area to eat.

They have fish on Wednesdays also which is usually not as busy.

Well, the bar tender was friendly at least.

A regular 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 sausage pizza: Dry, overwhelming amount of cheese, decent tasting sauce but too little of it, flaky dry crust. $ 15.00 for a large.
Not impressed with this selection, won't be back.

Came out to Park Ave Pizza expecting to be underwhelmed.  We're trying hard to make it into the top 20 to qualify for Team Trivia of WI's championship tournament in a few weeks, so we go to any and all locations we can.  Saturdays we usually hit The Duplex on Jefferson downtown, but they were closed (most likely because of St. Patty's Day).  So we had no other choice for trivia but Park Ave Pizza.

Man, was I wrong about this place!  We figured it would be dead, but it was hopping packed with reservations for dinner.  We only partook at the bar, where we also sat.  It was crowded enough that if we hadn't sat at the bar, we'd have been seated too far away to hear the trivia announcer.

Parking was a bit of a pain - the lot was pretty full and the street parking says 1 hour only (no fine print, and trivia runs 2 hours).  We managed, though.

The bartender, a young guy whose name escapes me, was awesome.  He unofficially joined our team and made small talk with us even though he was busier than a 1-armed paper hanger the whole night.  He still managed to throw in a good joke and keep our drinks flowing.  I was amazed that they had Lindemanns' Lambic Kriek and Framboise here, which I'd been DYING to try.  Everybody was well lubricated, to say the least!

Everyone else tried various drinks, and I think the prices were a smidge on the high side ($6-$7 for a bottled beer, which I sort of expect for Lambic but not for Killian's Irish Red).  Still, for the service and the selection it was worth it.  Their beer case was pretty extensive and they have Spotted Cow, Guiness, Blue Moon, and the other usual suspects on tap.

If we end up going back out there, I'd be up to try their pizza!

If it is deep fried, they do it well. Great fries good thin crust pizza and a tasty fish fry make this a good place to eat if you're craving fried food.

    Here's the breakdown,

The Good - Well they have a great beer list and reasonable prices.  They have Delirium Tremens and Nocturn in bottles and that alone is almost worth the trip!  Combine beer with a thin crust style pizza and it's a good meal.  The serving sizes and prices are reasonable.

The Bad - The service is not quick... and by not quick, I mean wicked slow.  There can be 3 people in the restaurant and you're wondering if they are actually milling the flour for your pizza!  Ok, perhaps not quite that bad, but don't go in in a hurry, or starving to the point that you're going to be eating the sugar packets on the table.  Patience is a virtue.

    The Ugly -
There's not a lot to say that's ugly here, other than the calorie count for your menu choices is going to be on the high side.  Good thing there's a nice lake nearby. Take a walk and you'll be happy you did.

In a nutshell - Good fried food, decent prices, but don't go if you're in a hurry.

Great place for a thin crust pizza, but don't stop there.  Guinness on tap with a bowl of home made chili is great before ice fishing on Pewaukee Lake.  Their rueben was surprisingly good for a pizza place-very lean corned beef, not too much sauce, and they even have horseradish (just ask)
