1st complaint was the bathroom lines. Spent 15-20 min minimum on line, each time we had to use it. They should either make more bathrooms OR for the big Freedom Fest &/or Vets Rock have porta-potties. My 10 yr old daughter will join us in Sept & I don't think she can hold it 15-20 min successfully.
2nd complaint was the long lines for food or soda/water. I agree, for the amount of people within the, "you can't leave boundries" you should have an easier access for refreshments.
We arrived 2 hours before the Kip Moore concert, so the parking lot wasn't an issue - however for the amount of people who attend the Freedom Feast &/or Vets rock there should be better security/parking lot attendents with smart routes in/out. Perhaps have an overflow parking lot & bus ticketholders in - no reason for ticketholders to have to sit in line, missing the concert, when arriving on time.
The venue for watching the concert was nice, however the bathroom & refreshment issues spoiled it. With the business, ($$$) the Pennysaver amphitheater is making, then should learn how to make their guests more comfortable & less aggravated in order to keep it up.
Arrived at venue on time for Wallflowers/Counting Crows show, but missed the Wallflowers because I had to wait in an enormous line in the parking lot for an hour. Â There appeared to be no more than four people taking tickets/checking bags. Completely inadequate parking situation. Never again.
UPDATE: After complaining, I was promised a refund on 6/20. Will update in a week or so to state whether I received it.
UPDATE II: No refund as of 6/27.
I came here a few times now to watch the 4th of July fireworks. It's a beautiful venue, and very big in size. Usually it's very, very crowded on the 4th, but it's worth it to watch the fireworks here. They normally have a classical orchestra playing music before the fireworks.
If you're driving, don't park in the lot, unless you're ok with waiting over an hour for everyone to leave.
