I'll always remember this place as the bar my cousin took me to when I was 18. We wanted to play darts and of course, drink. Somethings never change as me and him still come once a couple of months usually a pregame dart session before we go elsewhere. Beer is priced good and 2 dart boards a long with pool tables. Most recently had a not terribly bad, more of an annoying experience while playing darts and 2 hideous broads who were clearly obliterated kept trying to dance on us while we were playing darts. Not to mention that I was only a beer deep so there was no way in hell I was going whale hunting. A lot of good memories here especially from when I was under 21 but definitely not a hang out spot for me
Review Source:This is probably the most unusually located bar I have come across on LI. Â It is located in the middle of a residential neighborhood in Holbrook, seems like the person that did this zoning is the one that zoned all of New Jersey.
Inside, it is a typical bar that is square in nature with a bar on the left side, and a pretty decent sized area with tables on the right. Â All the typical dive bar staples like darts, golden tee golf, jukebox, and nut dispensing machines. Â
Unlike most of the other dive bars on LI, this one has decided that a bud bottle should be $3! Â I am sick of going into crap bars and paying $5 for a 40 cent bottle of bud. Â Yeah if I am in some swank lounge or something I will pay more for drinks, but I do not get where these places get their prices from. So for this another star. Â Seems to have all walks of life around in there. Â Parking is limited on the lot, so you will probably have to park in front of someone's house.
So overall a decent place that is decently priced.
