The Smoking Emporium is as good as it gets. Â Dennis, the gentleman who runs it, is top notch. Â He's accomadating, friendly and very knowledgeable about his products. Â
The location is convenient to get to either from Sunrise Highway or the Long Island Expressway. Â Parking is never an issue. Â The type of crowd frequenting the lounge is wonderful. Â There haven't been any incidents or any bad seeds around. Â Atmosphere is great - just people relaxing, hanging out, and having a good time. Â The decor is not your typical cigar lounge, overbearing. Â It's pleasant, and actually interesting. Â Lots of pictures are hung on the walls and when you go, give them a look - some of them are interesting. Â Restroom is small, but it is always spotless and there's usually never a wait.
There are a few high tables with stools, a small bar, and 2 big leather couches. Â A flat screen HDTV is usually tuned in to a sports game, the news, or a good movie. Â Free wireless internet is also a plus. Â I frequent this lounge, so I am a bit biased, but I have been to several other local lounges, and I can honestly say that none of them can hold a candle to The Smoking Emporium. Â Go check it out
This smoking room has a lot going for it. Â It's kind of in the middle of nowhere, but is easy enough to get to. Â It has a nice help-yourself humidor case carrying a fine line (Drew Estate and CAO) with prices starting at inexpensive $4 -5.00 (admittedly, my cigar knowledge is limited). Â There are several bar-height tables, a sit-down counter and nice leather kick-back and relax seating and a large scrren tv. Â The decor is eccentric and not forced. . . more sophisticated than done-up with cheesy sports memorabelia. Â The Smoking Emporium and Lounge has some nice wallpaper, curtains, and Johnny Walker Black.
