The Tap Room

The beers on tap and the outside seating is what drew us in on this warm summery day. Decent beer selection on tap, I loved the Stone IPA but I am always looking for more ways to support my local breweries (can we get some more IPAs to this island please?!)

Sat outside on the patio--nice little area enclosed with shrubs and benches. Umbrellas kept us in a perfect amount of shade and sunshine.

Wasn't super hungry so I ordered the Taco Salad with the short ribs. Wasn't expecting it to be nearly as good as it was. It was served with boxed taco shells (which I discarded to the side) and your standard store bought sour cream, salsa and guac, but everything else was beyond delicious. Nutritious, fresh lettuce blend, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions and pickled jalapeños. The short rib mixture on top was so good. Seriously, amazing. Tender, shredded beef in a sweet BBQ sauce with a small ratio of black beans. Yum!

The service was a little slow for not being super busy, but I was happy just enjoying the beer, food, and sunshine. Will definitely be returning!

Really like this place $3 tap beers 4-7 on Fridays. Nice beer selection. I had the Firestone APA....very good.   Appetizer platter was ehhh.  But our sandwiches were very good. steak sandwich on garlic bread was fantastic. Others on my table liked the burger and blackened gyro. service was friendly and attentive .Loud energetic atmosphere..Only negative is parking in patchogue.  They are overbuilding and people are literally fighting to park their cars. For that reason I avoid this village and its nice establishments..

This place has great beer really good food, and a enjoyable atmosphere.
