Its much nicer inside than you might guess, and the food was very good!
I had a grilled chicken sand which on a chibatta bun and it was very tasty. The service was polished and friendly.
What I don't care for is the raw emptiness. If you come here at lunch, there may be only be one other patron. A little ghost town feel.
Give them a try.
Eh it's Ok I guess. Good portions for sure.
On a recent lunch visit I ordered a heaping plate of fish and chips. Seasoning folks, folks seasoning! None was present as I drowned the fish in the tarter sauce hoping for flavor.
My wife had a salad. Once again a great big heaping amount of food.
The atmosphere is ok. It's kind of a medium sized place with a modern- southwestern design.
Didn't have a drink, but the bar looked promising.
I"m going to honest though, if this place wasn't so close to my abode, I wouldn't have ever eaten here.
Take that for what's it's worth I suppose.
We chose this place because we had a $100 gift card from <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2FRestaurant.com&s=0aab4cbd731f3d3b0d1453050d3abc56a8c80bd214e25469c7555b750dca8a51" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://Restaurant.com</a>, which required that we spend $200 to use it. So we were looking for somewhere with steaks since we had 6 people in our group.
It's connected to the Timbers Hotel and the atmosphere was casually nice with a modern look to it. We get there and the restaurant is completely empty except 2 guys who sat at the bar (which had a couple flat screen tvs). We figured just not enough people knew about it since I could barely find reviews on this place, so I promised I would write one when we were done.
Appetizers were good: we got cheese sticks and the quesadillas. They were fresh and crispy. The cup of Soup de Jour was a bit salty.
The side salad was a pretty big portion. The Caesar came with alot of dressing and cheese already on it, but still good. The regular house salads put the dressing on the side in a small cup for you to pour yourself.
4 of us ordered the "Surf & Turf" for $24. It came with 2 pieces of Steak Medallions that were over-cooked on all of our plates  =( , and about a palm size of salmon (not lobster). Not a big portion at all. The salmon was good, but still a bit salty. It came with green beans and mash potatoes which were... okay.
1 ordered the Filet Mignon, probably the best choice. It was tender and tasty with their "red egg sauce" that they put on it.
1 ordered the Ribeye steak, and it was big 14 ounce piece! So it was a good deal too. Maybe a bit over cooked since they ordered it Medium Rare, but still edible.
I also ordered an extra side of french fries... and they were overcooked too. = Too crispy as if they were in the fryer too long. How do you mess up french fries??
Overall, not a bad place. I think if they got more customers in more frequently then their food would be better. And they had alot of menu options like pasta and sandwiches too that we didn't get to try.
Great place to eat, it's been dead the past 3 times we've gone there but don't let that fool you, food is great! <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2FRestaraunt.com&s=3de8e745e4238ab44f63e77d84a10fae515fb35b9587860098d5e837e4450933" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://Restaraunt.com</a> has discounted GCs so you can get a great meal for three for very cheap
Review Source:I just ate there an hour ago. I had the beef brisket, and it was absolutely delectable. I've had my fair share of Texas barbecue, and this was some really legit stuff. Everyone else in my party really enjoyed their food as well.
The service was really good. We got there 15 minutes before close, and they welcomed us in. We got our food quickly, and we felt no pressure to leave or anything. All around good guys.
