I'm a student and I love studying at coffee shops. Sadly this one isn't conducive to studying because of the loud music and spotty wi-fi. It would be a good place to meet a friend for a coffee. I hear they have shows at night and this would be a great venue for music. The coffee drinks are good. The chicken pesto I had was not good. It had obviously been cooked way earlier and was just sitting around somewhere. They heated it up and it didn't taste fresh. The bread was soggy and stale. I really want to like this place. It's not the kind of coffee shop I'm used to. I prefer an atmosphere like Kinley's. But it is a good spot to go downtown for coffee.
Review Source:I wanted some decent wifi action in a hip locale on this fine Sunday morning. I thought I hit the jackpot when I drove past The Percolator and a parking spot was almost right outside of the door. My heart quickly sank when I walked in and was told that church was about to start. I don't want to deny people the right to believe but they denied me the right to stay and surf the interweb! It's not like I was asked to leave, it's just that the bazilian people crammed into the small space didn't leave any spare seats for the non-believers. Regardless I took my coffee to go and found another wifi spot (hence my connection now). Despite the chaos the service was great and the drink was what I anticipated. The place seemed to be very reasonable price-wise. I will be re-reviewing once I get the opportunity to come back, relax, order some food, and really give the place a chance.
