I've been searching for another Pho place that matches 79.  I've found it!  Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but once, I was watching "When Vacations Attack" on the Travel channel and it showed a scene where a car drove through Pho 7 and almost killed a guy.  So, I was like, I totally need to eat here!  You can tell that the place was renovated and even has a little half wall that protects against future reckless drivers.  Of course I sat by the window, because I live dangerously.
Service was fast and they were hustling.  The pho came out really fast and it had a great fragrant broth and decent servings.  I was wanting a little bit more meat, which gives 79 a slight edge.  One thing I always look for in a restaurant like this is a little diversity.  There was definitely a lot of Asian representation here, so I interpret it as Pho 7 having street credibility.  I definitely will go back and its nice to know there are good options for Pho.

Now that I live in the SE area, I thought that I better explore the pho options near me.  Sometimes, especially around dinenr time, the traffic to get to Pho 95 is just too much for me to face.  Pho 7 has a good broth, but not enough meat in their bowls.  They also are not very big on accommodating requested changes to the meat combinations on the menu.  I am also annoyed by the number of pho places that do not provide sawgrass, and Pho 7 is among them.  It is not bad pho, always very hot and a pleasant broth, and I MUCH prefer them to Pho-Yo, but the complexity of their broth is not in the same category as Pho 95.  I do continue to enjoy eating here.

A friend lives right around the corner, so we went for lunch yesterday.  Great spring rolls and peanut sauce.  Noodles were a tad cold, but it didnt stop me from going house on them.  I will def. be returning, since I will be down there quite a bit.  GO PROP64!  Restaurants around the  state will benefit from this.

I challenge you to find a better combination of service, value, and taste. This is simply the best Denver Pho restaurant I've ever been to, and I've been to at least a dozen of these places in the city.

    The highs:

    - lightning quick service that is extraordinarily polite
    - excellent pricing
    - great Pho
    - fine Boba

    The lows:

    - I eat here 1-2 times a month, and every once in a while I get some bean sprouts that are a little too old. Nothing dangerous mind you, just not crunchy.

    - When you get it to go, the noodles are just a little too cold. It might be nice if they took them out of the fridge an hour before I ordered, LOL.

    Basically, it's 4.5 stars perfect.

Is the ambiance to die for? Absolutely not. The beauty school is next door, the pot dispensary is down the way, and the strip club is a block over. Sometimes it's hard to find a parking spot, and crossing Hampden can take a few minutes during rush hour.

However, at $7 for a great big bowl of Pho, I'll deal with all of it.

BTW - if you're in the Tech Center and you're looking for a place to eat, this restaurant is less than 10 minutes north of 225. Buzz up early at lunch time, however, as the seats fill up fast.

First, the service here is very good. They are very pleasant and thorough.

The food is average. I had the Vietnamese spring rolls while waiting for my mom and my usual rare steak Pho. The spring rolls lacked flavor I thought. The fish sauce should, in my opinion, enhance the flavor, not give it flavor. they weren't bad, per se, but I wouldn't call them good.

The pho was fine. It wasn't exceptional, nor would I go out of my way to eat here. But it was fine, I enjoyed it and I had a nice lunch with my mom while eating it.

In my opinion, if you are driving by or near it, go ahead! But don't go out of your way.

I've developed a slight pho-ddiction as of late, so I keep trying different places in the area. This place has a certain flavor in their broth that will keep me coming back, I find it more of a sweet flavor than salty and didn't add as much to it, so I could savor the natural flavor. I usually just get take out because they are so close to my home, and they package everything perfectly (plus this strip mall it totally sketchy as others have noted). Quick friendly service.
I will keep coming back to feed my pho beast!

Most pho places are disappointing, to me, because my wife makes the best. But Pho 7 is the next best. The broth is really flavorful, the meat and veggies are fresh and overall, it's a great experience. Also, try the noodle bowls and the fried spring rolls. Excellent.

    Hot, fresh, delicious pho.
For those of you who don't like anise or sweet broth this place is for you. The broth is salty with a nice clean end. The noodles are abundant and the crab egg rolls are crispy and delicious! Service was prompt and they refilled my water 3 times while I was there. The only bad thing is the terrible location. This strip (STRIP) mall has too many businesses of the kind that I don't frequent.

Verdict: Pho-sure this place is legit.

I have been out here for a couple days on business.  I am from SoCal where you can get Pho all over the place. This morning I woke up with a fever and the flu. I have had a long day handling business and have been thinking about Pho all day.

Yelp comes to the rescue once again.  I decided on Pho 7 because of the reviews.

When I walked in, I was immediately seated, given a menu and asked what I would like to drink. I had food in front of me within 5 minutes of sitting down.  I ordered the large bowl of beef and meatball Pho. To help kick the cold, I loaded it up with chili and sriachi sauce.

Since it was a large bowl and I had leftover broth, the waitress asked if I would like to take it home.  She packaged it up for me with a smile.

Next time I am in the area, I will be visiting Pho 7 again.

This is my coworkers and I's go-to Pho place for our weekly outing for Pho! The inside reminds me of Pho 95 on Federal, the service is attentive and the food comes out fast. I am really trying to taste the broth before adding anything to it. I feel like that really is the what will set you apart from other Pho places. Pho 7's broth is really good. Actually, I liked it better than Pho 95 on Federal. I have been numerous times to Pho 7 and they consistenly provide me with delicious pho, great service, typical portions, and the reasonable prices!

    YES!!!!!

My husband and I have been searching for a new pho place since our old fav and us had a falling out. (long story, there is a one star review for a pho place under my name if you care to search it out and yes, my one star review is overly harsh but I'm hurt).

So the other night the hubby and I were finishing up some Christmas shopping and we started discussing where to grab a bite. I mentioned I had seen this pho place by our house I hadn't noticed before. Turned out to be a good suggestion.

The inside looks like pretty much every other pho place. There are tables, there is very little decoration, there is sriracha on the tables. We sat down, they brought water, and we looked at the menu for a half a second before knowing exactly what to order. We got the Vietnamese eggrolls to split and two bowls of pho.

The food came out quickly (and all at once but no biggie). It was delicious. Especially the egg rolls. I crave those Vietnamese egg rolls. I got addicted to them at the other pho place I won't name and don't eat at anymore because I'm mad at them and I was beginning to think I would never taste their deliciousness again. But here they are, just as wondrous as ever. The pho was great too. Hot and loaded with yummy-ness. Yes, we will eat here again. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is really only because I've only been in there once and I reserve 5 stars for places that consistently blow me away. If I go back a few times and they continue to serve me egg rolls and pho that knocks my socks off I'm sure I'll upgrade them to 5 stars.

I love this place!  i'm from Orange County and Pho 7 would be among the best in Little Siagon.  Pho is perfectly flavored and beautifully fragrant.  Not overly salted like most places.  The BBQ'd meats and especially the shrimp are fantastic.  Try the fruit drinks . . . amazing!

1st off, let me just say I was never a huge Vietnamese food fan, so take my 2 stars for what it's worth.

A buddy sucked me in here for lunch the other day.  Bowls are pretty big and your dollar goes a long ways here.

Decorating / upkeep needs improvement.  Looks way to old.  And what was the thing that stood out...

Oh yeah... flies!  FLIES FLIES FLIES!  I don't know how you keep em out, but find a way.  Google it!  I don't know, but it's pretty disgusting and annoying to constantly be shooing them away off of your food.

I've been eating Pho in and around Denver for years. This is most definitely one of my top picks for the delicious Vietnamese noodle soup. Everyone always has their own expectations for Pho - but those who know their Pho well can't help but agree that Pho 7 is exceptional.

The broth has a delightfully subtly flavor which works perfectly with the meat and noodles. It makes a perfect canvas for Pho lovers out there to add all the different Pho condiments to their soup for a personalized flavor (hoisin, sriracha, lime, bean sprouts, etc.) I personally like to keep it pure. I learned from a Vietnamese friend that Pho should be enjoyed without putting the sauce into the soup in fear of tainting its essence (it was deep conversation). Ever since then I've been a purist - but I don't judge those that like to do otherwise. Pho sho.

The service has always been on top of things. Within minutes of placing our order, our food comes out. Amazing. I have been to many a Pho places, and none have been so fast. There has been some reviews speculating the "thumb in the broth" dilema. At first, I have to agree that it grossed me out a little. But the truth is, it happens all the time - especially at Pho places. Just think of it as adding a little extra flavor. Harharhar! Just kidding. But seriously, a little thumb in the soup never hurt anyone. It's much better than finding other funky things in your Pho: a lollipop stick, a bandaid, a funky looking hair - all experiences I've had at other places. So no need to get your bean sprouts in a bundle.

Overall, 4 stars. I'm still yet to find the ideal Pho place... Does such perfection truly exist? Pho 7 is pretty close. Stay hungry my Pho-natic friends!

My favorite Pho place - haven't tried many but this one is by far the best I've tried. Fast service - your seated and water and veggie plate brought almost immediately. The broth is rich and tasty, veggies provided are copious and fresh (I think they must grow them in the back!). Staff is friendly, the manager (I guess he is) is happy to answer any questions. If you take it to go, the waitress will package it up for you at your table. Is that normal? It's certainly appreciated.  Their iced tea is fantastic. Addictive! Love my pho.

As much as I have my favorite pho spot around town, Pho 7 certainly gives other top spots a run for their money!

The highlight of my visit: the broth was by far one of my top 2 favorites around town!

As much as I love pho, I  love noodle bowl more.

Chilled rice nodel served over a bed of lettuce. Topped with crunchy bright mung bean, carrot, radish, and sizzling succulent beef. Sprinkle a little aromatic green onion, cilantro, add some crushed peanut. Drench it all in house made fish sauce and sambal. Throw in some vietnamese egg roll on the side for good measure.....  and I give you the nectar of gods.

Pho 7 has just this noodle bowl, among other great pho classics. Service here is usually better than most pho joints. The ambiance is more updated than the sometimes blah white washed walls,  squeaky vinyl chairs,  calendar of a half clothed vietnamese girl holding an umbrella in the corner, and taiwanese pop music (oldie's but goodies!) of their competitors. This pho place isn't as well known so it's never over crowded.

Very good pho! And super shrimp!

There are so many pho places now, most of them with poor quality pho that I was nicely surprised when I lapped up my first coupla spoonfuls.

Didier Corlou (world famous pho chef) says broth is difficult "because it takes so long to cook, and you need strong bones and meat--oxtail and marrow-filled shinbones--and before being cooked they should be blanched and rinsed so the soup will be very clear. And you must not skim off all of the fat. Some is needed for flavor." (Smithsonian Magazine)

Most new pho places miss something about these basic fundamentals. But Pho 7 is right on. Their spices and spice mix are slightly unusual and somehow not the standard fare around town. But I enjoyed that flavor expression. The shrimp my friend had were really excellent and again had some little secret spice that made it different from most shops.

I really enjoyed our meal, the granite tables and decor. I'll definitely go back. Beats the hell out of Pho fusion down the street (which should be called "faux fusion" due to it's poor quality.)

Pho 7 is the perfect example why it can be fun to cruise around town trying out different hole in the wall joints.

I work in the Tech Center and this is a weekly (sometimes twice a week) destination for myself and many of my coworkers.

The restaurant seating area is clean, and has a southern exposure to the afternoon sun. The bathrooms are always clean. (hint, if the bathrooms aren't clean, what do you think the kitchen sanitation standards might be?)

Service is always fast - a couple seconds after entering you will get a friendly 'How many?' from one of the always courteous wait staff.

The menu has pho, rice noodle bowls and rice plates.

The rice noodle bowls are great if I decide I don't want soup - they deliver a bowl layered with lettuce, mung bean sprouts, cucumbers, then rice noodles, topped with succulent grilled meats, egg roll, or shrimp. On the side is a delicate dressing of lime juice, fish sauce, and spices. Sprinkle that over the top, and you are good to go. (If you're super-hungry, do yourself a favor and splurge on the very generous all-topping combo.)

The Pho is topnotch- a clear meaty soup broth delivered with a mound of rice noodles your choice of protein, and a handful of thinly sliced onion and scallion. On the side they deliver the traditional options - saw weed, Thai basil, sliced jalapeno, lime, and mung bean sprouts. I like the juice of one piece of lime in a small bowl of soup and as much of the saw weed and basil as I can take without being rude to anyone else at the table sharing.

I recommend trying the 10 or 11- for the adventurous. All the meats, even the freaky-to-Westerners tripe (chewy but not much taste) and tendon (fatty and gelataneous). Honestly, I tell them to hold the tendon, but if you end up going all the way, having both tripe and tendon will not ruin the flavor of the soup if you decide to eat around them.

The vegetables and bean sprouts are fresh- you may see some spotting on the basil the day before the next delivery, but unlike other places I've been the sprouts are never brown / decaying, nor the herbs limp/dead-looking.

I see other people talking about lack of water refills or checking up on how things are- I've never had a water problem, maybe they read Yelp and saw the complaints. As for checking up to see how things are - they don't need to, because it's always consistently delicious. Seriously, this is a basically a three dish place and they have it down.

The few times I had a problem I waived to one of the servers (there's always one at the counter and one on the floor or fetching food) and they come right over. You're supping on heaven-soup for 6 bucks a bowl, get over yourself.

re: Rick's review and the accused broth-touching:
I've not seen the wait staff intentionally touch the food while serving. Maybe they fired this fetishist, or maybe the broth hit the top of their thumb. Either way, guess what - kitchen and wait staff touch your food all the time. Ever work at a restaurant? No, you probably haven't. Maybe watch some tv.... you ever watch those cake shows, where they're working the fondant in their hands for 20 minutes? Enough said.

Consistently delicious, inexpensive, and authentic 'street food' served quickly and cheerfully at $1 over crappy fast food options? Yes please. 5 stars, DTC workers need to try this place.

Not my kinda of Pho. I've had better one. I had the rice combination and the bones are still on the meat which makes it hard to eat. If you're in the Aurora area I suggest Pho53 and in Denver area Pho95. Pho95 is by far a better Pho I've ever had.

I'm not sure that I'm 100% on the Pho bandwagon-but I think it's slowly growing on me. Last night it was perfect because I'm fighting off a cold and it just sounded perfect, plus my friend said it's like magic Pho soup. I had the #15 which is with chicken and I ate almost the entire thing. It was great-I could even somewhat taste things which was awesome! I've had it here before with the raw beef which cooks in the broth and that was really good as well. Service here is good, fast and friendly-a little lacking on the water refills but other than that no complaints. I'll be back again I'm sure.

It was alright... the broth wasn't as intense as other pho joints.

One thing I didn't like about this place (and I believe other people have also written about) is their "inattention after pho was delivered". Actually, Heidi S, I think I would like to add that they were absolutely careless WHILE DELIVERING the pho. On numerous occasions I saw the waiter touching the broth with the tip of his fingers while serving. I didn't say anything at the time because I didn't want to scare the people eating it. But I feel like it is something very very VERY important to point out if you are the type that pays close attention to basic food sanitation.

If anything, I think this Pho joint is overrated. Pho 95 and 75 are the best ones around in my opinion.

This is a great neighborhood/business pho gathering. It's homey, clean, and has a great taste, not too salty or loaded with MSG. There is a good variety in the selection and the portion size is fantastic! I love the quick service because I'm always starving when I go there. I don't stink when I leave the place, which is important to me because its back to work, who wants to smell like onions?!

The staff is friendly and really remember the little stuff. They are polite and personable.  They give you dum dums at the counter. Fun.

I found another pho joint. Why is my world so beautiful?  Why do I crave the pho?

My father served in Vietnam during the war, thank you dad for your service there and in Korea. He returned to Vietnam recently and said he looked for a half Mexican kid (or two) who looked like him. Way to gross out your daughter, dad, thanks. Poking out my mind's eye.

Very good pho, quick seating, but inattention after pho was delivered - which was lightening fast, and no water refills or questions of how things were. The veggie plate was OK, just enough not to waste - sprouts were not stellar but still good. All the normal condiments on the table;  who invented fish sauce? I love you. I ordered my steak on the side and it was raw and bloody and adorned with fresh onions. Hold me.

A good joint in a funky part of Denver. We will go back pho sure. Oh my lord, I love me my pho.
