I'm not a big Korean BBQ person, and it's probabaly because I've never had such a great experience as I did last night at Seoul BBQ. Â I'm out in Denver visiting my sister for the first time and was told that the Korean food out here is pretty good. Â So, to Seoul BBQ we went, and I was definitely impressed with the offereings. Â
We did BBQ Combination A for three people, which included various meats, a soondubu jjigae, vegetable pancake, egg souffle, and soju/Hite for $69.99. Â Of course, this came with the 14 banchan sides and Korean tea. Â We also ordered the japchae. Everything was delicious. Â I've never gone to a Korean restaurant where there were so many banchan sides provided. Â We actually received 15 different sides because they ran out of potato salad and gave us tofu salad - yummy!! Â What a wonderful surprise!! Â
I've had Korean BBQ in Boston and even New York City, and it didn't compare to this place at all, both for the offerings and price. Â
We were four adults with two babies and was given a room that normally seats 8 people. Â That was a very nice accommodation for us as we didn't want the babies too close to the BBQ grill.
This place looks a lot like the places in Cali that I"ve been too. I love their private rooms/section. Very accommodating for large groups. Its not all you can eat but has combinations to share with large parties. Great side dishes and was willing to refill them (not sure if it was extra tho). Rice was extra. All the meats are good quality. The ones that were to be marinated was done well. Definitely an authentic Korean restaurants.
