Love this place. Good breakfast, friendly service, and good coffee. The Sandwich I Am (breakfast sandy on a pretzel roll) is really good, enough so that I am craving it right now. I like coming here for lunch with coworkers but they do complain about the higher prices. Either way I think it is fair for the area and the food is better than other breakfast shops.
Really enjoy this place but always a line out the door (good sign). Parking is terrible and rather non existent during breakfast to lunch hours.
I'll be back for sure.
There are lots of breakfast places in this part of town, but Dozens has a few different things that make it stand out from the rest. Â They have some very unusual combinations of ingredients in their omelettes and skillets, many of which are very good. Â I'd prefer if they made hash browns instead of home fries, but that's how I am everyplace, not just here. Â They have several flavors of coffee and many different muffins available each day, which is nice to see, and the banana chocolate chip muffin is very good. Â They don't seem to offer a plain stack of pancakes, which was odd since there is a pancake listed on the kids' menu, but between muffins and Belgian waffles and French toast I guess they have it covered. Â They do give you fresh fruit rather than canned, which is always a plus. Â It's a fairly big place, so even if it gets crowded you generally don't have too long a wait. Â This is a local institution that's been around seemingly forever, and I can see why.
