Holy Pho! Either it's been a long time since I had good pho or pho in generally or this place was awesome.

    Let's break it down:

Prices totally reasonable, and good value for the money

Meat: No fat! I have never been to a pho place with lean cut meat, and this brought a small tear to my eye b/c I hate fat.

Service: Friendly, attentive and  besides getting confused on Edamame vs Calamari did an overall good job.

My co-workers agreed and this is our new Pho home. It's Phoalicious!

The food - Yummy wonton balls and legit pho. Also $3 mini chinese donuts are bomb, same dough used as beignets. Solid 4.

The place - very clean and owner is nice. Although it was a two person team when we came so it was a little slow, bare with them.

    Recommend.

Will put it into my eating-out rotation and be back to try other menu items. I'm sure their chinese items will be good since the owners are Chinese/Vietnamese but they also have Pad thai and stuff.

They also deliver for a charge.

Give it a try and support small business!

First came here almost six months ago.  The owner was very friendly and welcoming.  The place used to be a Quiznos so there are Italian-eque posters on the wall.  Anyway, they serve Chinese, Vietnamese, and some Thai dishes.  The pho bowls are well portioned- not too big.  Good flavor and meats along with fresh herbs/greens make for a warm filling meal.  The Viet sandwiches are filled with flavorful meats and fresh veggies.  My favorite dishes: the lemongrass mussels and salt/garlic fried wings.  But the absolute best dish they serve is not on the menu- ask for the grilled mussels.  They are divine!  Grilled with a buttery olive oil sauce, fried onions, cooked green onions, and special Viet greens.  The best mussel dish anywhere.  Tell them John recommended it.

Their Thai dishes are pretty good too.  I've had the pad thai, and green curry.  Both quite good.  Their viet noodle and rice dishes are really good.

I've been there almost twice every month since August and have not had a bad meal.  I introduced my whole family, and others, and they all came away quite pleased.  The service can be a bit slow sometimes as they don't have that many staff- they are a small shop that just opened.  But the food never disappoints.  This has become my regular Viet joint.

Was excited to go based off of the reviews my husband and I saw on here.  However, when we arrived, we sat down, received our water and were left there for literally 10 minutes before our orders were taken.  Each person in our party (of only 3) ordered pho and we waited literally for 30 minutes for our pho to arrive.  The restaurant was not that busy and only one other table had not received their orders yet when we arrived.  When we FINALLY got our pho, the portions were extremely small and waiting half an hour for it just wasn't worth it.  What topped it off was as we were waiting for our check (took another 10 minutes), a table of 3 arrived and received their food in under 5 minutes.  I don't know what it was but we were extremely disappointed and will not be going back.

Yes please. I love these guys. I was sad when the old Quiznos went, but wow, what a better and more nutritious alternative!

I went with a large group of friends, and we all sampled one another's food. We had the panang curry, sesame chicken, tenderloin steak, pho (of course), and some great appetizer platters.

It was all phenomenal, tasted fresh and wonderful. The vegetables, herbs, and sprouts were fresh and crisp, the meat done to perfection, and it was topped off with delightful little rice treats for dessert.

Great service, and they remember your name. My husband liked it so much he wanted to go back the next day, which we did.

Try it, you won't be sorry.

I'm a new fan of this new neighborhood Vietnamese place.  Great Pho (13 varieties), rice dishes and Vietnamese sandwiches are offered here by a very friendly and competent staff and extremely reasonable prices.  All the veggies and meats that we've sampled have been very fresh and high quality.  They really have a handle on seasoning their dishes well, not overdoing things with salt, not using MSG, and concentrating upon getting the most out of fresh herb mixtures and homemade broths.  I've had a lot of Pho around town, and this is, in my opinion, the freshest and most authentic I've had the pleasure to sample.  They label themselves as "Asian Cuisine", so they also offer some Thai Curries and Chinese things in addition to the Vietnamese; it all looks good here.

This is a small place in a strip mall just east of Peoria on the north side of Mississippi in Aurora.  Previous incarnations of the space have included a Quiznos and a mom-and-pop wings place...but they've nailed it with Pho Cafe.  It's a very clean and inviting place inside, with maybe 7 booths and a few tables, and an exhibition kitchen line.

We've been in twice in the past 2 weeks, and plan to make it a regular haunt for EXCELLENT Pho and rice.  The female co-owner is VERY nice, handling the front-of-house duties with grace and knowledge, ready to suggest the best of the best of their menu offerings, with a few special suggestions for things not actually printed on their menu.  The prices are very reasonable; they have a special for any size of any of their Phos accompanied by a refillable soft drink of your choice for $6.25...how can you beat that anywhere else, especially for the quality of their food.  They offer smoothies, vietnamese coffee and fresh-squeezed lemonade too, if you're so inclined.

On both occasions we've dined there, the other diners at other tables were audibly mmmmmmmmmm-ing and oooh-ing over their meals, and engaging amicably with our hostess/server/owner.  The chef/owner behind the line was busy doing his thing with gusto, a very talented man, to be sure, and taking pride in his ability to combine crispy premium vegetables, herbs and meats expertly.

These guys really know what they're doing here, and they love what they're doing, as should you!

This place is great; nice food and the service is great. The staff is super nice and attentive and they alway has great suggestions and ideas of new items for my girlfriend and I to try whenever we come in. The sesame tofu is easily one of the best tofu dishes I've ever had in almost seven years of being a vegetarian, and everything with tofu is always cooked wonderfully (a rare sight in most restaurants); the vegetables are also always are really fresh and crisp. Definitely a place worth stopping into, more than once.
