The PlayBar

By far the worst "club" I have ever been to in my life! We stayed less than 10 minutes after coming in, and they enforce the NO REFUNDS policy hard because they must know what a trash hole their establishment is. Incredibly rude girl at the door, run-down and super dark inside, crap music, practically no one in there (and absolutely no one I would want to have dancing with me). Well drinks may be affordable, but so is drinking in my hotel room, which is exactly what we went an did after flushing $20 in cover charge down the toilet at PlayBar.

Stay away!

Gosh, we didn't even stayed more than 15 minutes in there. It was a Saturaday night around 10:30PM. It wasn't packed yet. We came here because we got this free VIP paper thing on the street. It wouldn't be worth it to pay to get in.

At the door the guy had to check us. My friend was holding a plastic bag with her heels. The guy was very RUDE! He wacked my friend's bag thinking it was something dangerous. WTH! At least be more polite. You just want to check it. Jeez!

As soon as we stepped in, the Harlem Shake song was on. There were a bunch of crazy young people dancing like idiots on the dance floor. To be expected at a club. But...whoaa...maybe that vibe isn't for me. Kinda creepy. Ew!

I really enjoyed Playbar while I was on vacation in Waikiki recently.  It's not a fancy place, but the drinks were reasonably priced and the music was CRACKIN!  I would give this star at least 5 stars but there was 1 stupid bartender b*tch who thought her shit didn't stink and got my husband and his sister kicked out just because she hated her job.  It's all good though because my husband complained to the manager and security and they let them back in AND got us our own table with server!  Awesome customer service!  Bottle service was only $120 for a bottle of Gray Goose!!  I couldn't believe how cheap that was.  If we knew that earlier in the night we would have just started off with bottle service rather than the countless rounds of shots we paid for early on.  

The DJ was on point when we were on the dance floor.  I think he could tell we were from the Bay cuz he was slappin some shit that I hadn't heard since the Hyphy Movement lol we literally took over the dance floor.  It was a lot of fun.  But beware of the hookers on the low-low up in there. Those bitches don't look that nice, but they are quick to dance with your men and hang around like it's cool to kick it....hella annoying.

But try this place out if you're in the area.  The location was just down the street from our hotel and a lot of other hotels.  Check them out  :)
