This establishment was previously called the "Banyan Court" It's probably one of the best beach bars in Waikiki. Â You can situate yourself right next to the beach, or under the sprawling Banyan Tree for a more relaxed atmosphere.
Besides having full bar service, they also provide a menu of appetiters and light meals prepared fresh from a small, on site kitchen. Â We had an appetizer of "Poke' Nachos" that was made with fresh Ahi Poke' and house made Won Ton Chips all drizzled with a spicy aioli. Â Don't pass this one up, it's to die for. Â We also had the Moana Burger done medium perfectly! Â Service was spot on but not intrusive.
A great place to wind down the day or for a romantic evening nightcap. Â I'd recommend this place to visitors as well as locals.
This was a cool spot to grab a drink and be in a relaxed atmosphere, despite being right on Waikiki. Â You have the option to be right at the more lively bar area or at the laid-back seating/restaurant area where you can listen to some great traditional music.
They are known for their Mai Tai and I was not disappointed with my drink!
the service here is.. well.. we were completely overlooked the first 5 minutes so my friend walked over to the bar to put in our order. a few minutes later, our server finally found her way over to us and we got our drinks in no time.
beachside drinks are delicious here!! i got the lilikoi ginger. so refreshing!!
perfect place to unwind and relax in the shade of the huge banyan tree, with a clear view of diamond head. :) people watching is a must!
