The food is consistent with most other locations (which I can't help but indulge myself with occasionally) but what sets this location apart is the friendliness of the cashiers. Â They have always been so kind to me... even continuing to make eye contact as I'm eating (as if to silently inquire if I'm enjoying whatever new product I'm trying) which I generally answer with a thumbs up (since my mouth is full... chewing).
:-)
I have gone to this Popeye's for many years, but after my recent experience in late May I will never go back. Â I got my dinner and sat down to eat, when a tall homeless man came in, approached me and started asking me for money. Â I said no.
He asked me again and I said no. Â He hung around for a few minutes and when he left, he shouted obscenities at me. Â At no point during my visit, did the staff at Popeye's do anything to help me or tell the homeless man to leave. Â I wrote a letter to Popeye's corporate office and they never replied.
On my b-day, which fell on a Friday this year, I was asked what I wanted to eat for dinner. Â With it being a very long week, I really didn't want to go out to dinner especially since we were celebrating my bday the following day. After being asked numerous times what I wanted to eat, I said Popeye's.
It has been a minute since having Popeye's.
We ordered an 8 piece spicy (white) with fries and biscuits. Â Delicious!! There nothing like spicy fried chicken. Comfort food!!!!
